Ilona and Mason spent a day in bed, unwinding from their time with the pirates. Ilona hadn't realized how tense she had been when she found herself thrust back into her role as Captain. However, now that it was just the two of them again and they were back in their little home, she felt the stiffness ease from her shoulders.
Mason was also doing better after spending the day recovering from his wild night with Nick, but he still had a ways to go before he would be ready to begin practicing with the swords. For now, he was content spending time with the woman he loved.
"You know... you may be a great pirate captain Ilona love... but you're not the best at nursing patients back to health."
Ilona frowned down at the Prince stretched out on the bed in front of her. She had warmed a bucket of water and was now using it with some of their soap to clean the cuts and scrapes on Mason that weren't big enough to require stitches.
