Days went by, and Ilona settled into the routine of being Captain again. It didn't take long for her men to settle in either. She was relieved things seemed to be going better for her this voyage than her last. There was a lot less arguing and fighting to keep a handle on her crew.
Mason didn't recover from his seasickness as quickly as they might have hoped. Anja kept him steadily supplied with her ginger tea and plain bread. That was about all he could manage.
