"The blue one?" Ashley asked.
"It was actually for your brother Felix to give it to his future wife but with the ring missing-" she sighed.
"What happened?" Ashley asked. Suddenly interested.
However, before her grandmother could say anything, her grandfather came back with a box in his hand.
"Give this to that birthday geezer." her grandfather said as he passed the box to Ashley while looking at it with narrowed eyes.
Ashley nodded her head as she weighed the box in her hand.
It is lightweight but given how exquisite and antique the box looked, she could tell that the gift is invaluable.
But why is her grandfather making such a face? He looked as if he was giving away his precious daughter to someone.
However when her eyes fell on the twin necklaces in the box, she waved away her questions about the box and focused on her previous question.
