By the time Aiden reached the parking lot of his penthouse, it was already late evening. The sun has set out long back and it is already dark.
But he didn't alight from his car as soon as he parked it. He sat inside for God knows how long and only returned to reality when he saw a car being driven into the parking lot.
He watched as the car stopped and before he could avert his eyes, he realized that the girl in the back seat was Anna.
She drove to her workplace but why did she return in a taxi? And, she looked drunk. Moreover, she is not wearing the same clothes she wore in the morning.
Seeing her drunk and pale, he couldn't help but get worried. And, when he saw her struggling to get out of the car, he immediately got out of his car and rushed to help Anna.
"Why did you drink this much?" he chided her as he held her from falling and helped her out of the car.
