Chapter 1 - Prologue

"Doesn't look so beautiful now, does it, Master?" The taunt came from the woman completely dressed in black, standing in front of the gravestone that engraved "Aden J. Radstone".

"I.. I failed," said Richard Radstone, the leader of the Elementors. The Soritas. "I didn't have the slightest imagination, that this would be the outcome."

They were standing in the city that was called, Akiraneth, the city that was now in ruins. The houses were destroyed, broken and some parts burned to ashes. The streets were split apart. The place was unbreathable, as Richard tried to breathe, the air stung his lungs. The destruction had taken place a few days ago but an aura of fear was still there. It was like the people who had died, left their last feelings, the terror.

It started with a single file. The file that contained the order of imprisonment of Aden J. Radstone. That one order from the most powerful man of the Elementory world had this aftermath, death of thousands, their name unknown. If they were alive, buried under the dust and ruins of their own house, that's the place they left this world. And it all happened because two people had a fight. Two Radstones, to be exact.

Aden, the young boy who was claimed to lose his sanity, was killed by his own father, Richard's oldest son, Jared. Jared was supposed to capture Aden, who rebelled against the government of Elementors and camped in Akiraneth. But things went wrong as Aden lost control of his powers while fighting his father. In the end, as Jared claims, he had to stop Aden only by taking his life. But the damage was done, as Aden unleashed the full power of his Elementory, the city had already started to break, the earth had started to split open and to stop Aden the overpowered fire that Jared shot had caught the city, Jared could've stopped the fire only by a flicker of his fingers. Only if he hadn't passed out right after.

The graveyard was the only place which was not touched by the destruction. As Rita looked from the grave, she looked back and asked, "What do we do now?"

"I don't think there's anything we can do. Except to move on."

"Only if it was that easy."

"You have to, Rita. That's the only way you can assure the dead that the future will be far better."

"Yeah," tears started to climb on her eyes as she tried her best not to break out. "But this isn't fair."

"Nothing in this world ever is," Richard went to Rita and stroked her back in a fatherly way. Rita was the same age as Jared, one of his close friends actually. "We need to inform her, too."

Tears silently started to drop from her eyes as she said, "Please, go talk to her and bring them back."

Richard nodded, not having any words to speak. They both stood there, mourning for the lives that were lost.
