Communication breakdown just stroke both Mercy and Wayne.Mercy's phone got damaged and so she could no longer talk with him whenever she wanted more over he could have really been dating the other girl.
They went on a month without speaking to each other . This was due to the fact that Mercy was still upset but also Wayne was not showing any signs of being innocent. Wayne never told her how he felt .He only used to text her love texts on the phone.
This wasn't happily accepted by Mercy because she wondered how a charismatic personality and a well public speaker would have found it hard to express his feelings for her.
The two would go on long walks arguing about silly things but still find happiness in it. It was noticed by everyone that these two had strong feelings for each other. Mercy's friends were aware of the happenings and were very excited but Mercy's joy was always short lived by a reminder of her insecurities.
Wayne never made her feel that way but his loudspoken friend always saying mean things about others made her feel that way.
Mercy also thought,he could have just wanted to take advantage of her heart. But of course this thought didn't even reach the soul of the brain.
Despite everything going on Mercy has always been holding on to what happened between them hoping that one day the air would be cleared.
While Wayne was out doing his own things another guy reappeared in Mercy's life. His name was Ethan, he was Wayne's former classmate and was the first to show interest in Mercy but at that time Mercy was already over heels for Wayne.
He started texting her everyday,they began chatting and the two just enjoyed each other's company. Mercy didn't have any relationship thoughts Towards him but the world began to question their friendship.
Could this have also led to the rift between Wayne and Mercy?
Mercy was not sure if Wayne was aware of the rumours but she too kept quiet untill she mistakenly called Wayne Ethan and of course Wayne was vexed.
