"No, chile, ye not." Goddess Tru stroked Gabriella's face.
"No AJ, no Jerome as guardian angels this time?" Gabriella asked.
Tru nodded. "The fate over your lifeline feels that you had divine intervention in the last ordeal. The creator has agreed to test you once again. Just know you are loved, and this is not a punishment."
Gabriella nodded. She needed to let Jerome know she loved him. If she was about to be taken away again, he had to know—
"He might go mad, Gabriella. It is up to you to tell him but having his present and his future taken away from him might change your Alpha."
A long sigh escaped her lips before she nodded. She stood up and hugged her grandmother. "Everything will be fine. Will you come for the naming ceremony?"
