"Have a seat Ms Trelawney."
Dumbledore gestured Sybill Trelawney to sit.
"I see that you have applied to a post at Hogwarts. As a divination Professor."
Dumbledore adjusted his glasses and looked at the resume of the person in front of him. It was quite bare and he was having second thoughts. But then, he looked at her surname. Trelawney. She could be the descendant of the great seer Cassandra Trelawney.
"Are you related to Cassandra Trelawney by any chance?"
"Yes... yes, she was my ancestor. Mr no Headmaster Dumbledore, I desperately need this job. Please, I have an O in divination, and I'm qualified. I have a lot of debt..." Sybill was breaking down.
Dumbledore, however, was firmly against the idea of giving a job based on ancestry. This was one of the reasons why he was against Voldemort and his followers. He was about to say something when Sybill suddenly rasped out.
"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not...- "
"Oi! Get Out!" Outside the room, Albus' brother shouted at some passerby.
Dumbledore, however, was fully focused on the rest of the prophecy.
"- and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies...."

Severus Snape rushed into the manor and directly went towards the main hall. Two death eaters were guarding the hall. Snape showed his death eater tattoo and entered the hall.
He bowed down to the person on the chair at the end of the hall.
"Severus. What brings my precious potion maker here?"
"My lord, a prophecy has been issued by Sybill Trelawney. It was told to Dumbledore. I only heard part of it before the bar's owner pushed me out."
"Ohh. Tell me, what was the prophecy?"
The person who Snape referred to as lord was none other than Voldemort himself. He looked nothing like a dark lord. He looked like a middle aged father, with sharp features defining his face. In his hand was his wand - 13 and half inches of Yew with a Phoenix feather. He looked at Snape, beckoning him to tell him.
""The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not..."
Voldemort was deep in thought. He gestured with his hand, telling Snape to go. Snape saw this and immediately left. There was no one visible in the room other than Voldemort.
"Pettigrew!"
Voldemort called out, even though no one was in the room. In a small corner, a rat was hiding at a spot which couldn't be seen from where Snape stood.
The rat raced forward and morphed into a human. He bowed before Voldemort and said, "Yes, my lord."
The man had a round face and body, and his teeth were prodding out life that of a mouse. He was Peter Pettigrew.
"Who among the light side is expecting a child in July?"
"There are two couples my lord, one are the Longbottoms, and the other are the Potters."
Voldemort was surprised.
"The Potters? Didn't they have a child? What happened to him, I sent some death eaters to the location you sent but none of them returned. What happened?"
"My lord," Peter sputtered, "I thought, all of the light side thinks you have the child. The only one there was me and every one was alive before I fainted. Everyone believes that I killed all the death eaters before fainting and another death eater took the child and fled."
Voldemort was perplexed.
"Potter. This family now has my attention. Their children are halfbloods?"
"Yes my lord."
"Leave."
Peter left the hall, leaving Voldemort to his own thought.
"A halfblood like me will be a bigger threat than the pureblood. I will kill this boy before he becomes a threat."
Voldemort made a decision that day which would rock the Wizarding world.

James look at his wife, and then at his son.
"He has your eyes, Lily. They are so vibrant. And his hair, it's messy like mine."
Lily chuckled weakly, and said, "Leave him for now, and tell me, what should we name him?"
"Harry. Harry Potter."
"What about his middle name? How about James, James?"
James smiled, but then suddenly his face fell.
"No. Not James. I don't deserve it. Not after I left Charlus."
Lily stopped chuckling. She got up with some difficulty and slapped James.
"You know it's not your fault. What happened to Charlus was unfortunate, but you can't blame anyone but You-know-who for that!"
James slumped beside Lily and leant onto her.
"I can't stop thinking about him Lily. Every time I go back to the castle, and I see Dad, I am reminded of him. I feel so angry and sad, and I know I'm not supposed to forget about Harry here but Charlus was my heir."
James started sobbing.
"Then we can see Charlus in Harry can't we. Let's name him Harry Charlus Potter. He will live his life for his brother too."
Lily consoled James and gave this suggestion. James' mood bettered after listening to his wife.
"Yes, darling. Thank you."
He looked at Harry and said, "You heard mommy? You have to live for 2 people now. Won't that be nice? Live a full life Harry Charlus Potter."

Charlus' hand twitched a bit, but he went back to his motionless state. No one witnessed this change, and the schedule in the manor did not change. A few minutes later Maxy came and dipped the 3 year old in a tub filled with water and nourishment potion.
