Kian drove like a madman to the hospital. He was honking away at the traffic and the neighbouring vehicles gave him the disturbing look.
But he did not care...not when his mother could possibly be breathing her last.
It was so sudden and unexpected. He had never thought that the day would come so soon.
And even though mentally, he knew what to expect still he could not bring it in himself to prepare for it.
Or it could be that he could never be ready to face a day like that?

And the same line was repeated for more than ten times by then. He was trying to his wife because he had just got her letter, the moment he came out of the house, running towards his Audi.
The watchman delivered it to him. And in the letter, it was clearly stated that she would have been home by then and she had not in reality.
