"I heard you met Grandpapa in the ball. Is it right Grandma?"
Tinsley asked. Charlotte nodded.
"Back then marrying for love was alien to people...at least most of them."
"You did not love grandpa from before?"
Tinsley enquired. Charlotte closed her eyes. Arnold sat quietly listening to the granddaughter and grandmother having a conversation in the huge living room.
"They said I will learn to love him."
"And did you fall for him?"
Tinsley was quick to ask.
"What love for you, could be something else for others.
If it comes down to the fact that do I still miss your grandfather, despite of his cold, brutish behaviour, my dear, then I do...he was the only man in my life...he also became the only man I would die, having his name as mine...
He was the father of my babies, that could not make it to this world and we both grieved together.
