I directly let it out, not beating around the bush. She hummed from the other side, agreeing to offer her hand in my help.
"So what is the favour you ask of me??"
"Promising to never return here if I help you escape."
And that was something in the line I was expecting but never knew that abiding by my promise would be so hard.
Never promising to return would mean that I would never ever get to see Kian again anymore.
And I felt the most hurtful punch in my chest even at the thought of it...not being able to see him when I had only got to see him after such a long period...waiting for him forever.
But in my heart even though it was crying cats and dogs, I knew that staying away from him was the best for me...not seeing him would be just fine for my survival.
"I give you my word. I will never return if you help me escape."
I said it out loud and a line of tears fell off of my eyes in continuous motion, without any stoppage as I hung the call-up.
