"Do you know that you are killing yourself slowly?"
Tinsley gritted her teeth, lightly slapping against his chest. He did not react much other than giving her a sad smile.
"It's nice to know you care."
"Of course, I do...of course, I do...I have always cared for you, Ross. You are the father of Ava and you saved my life...I owe you so much...yet do not know where to start paying you off...it seems like I have only caused you more pain. "
Tinsley elaborated. She wanted to let him know what he meant to her.
Knowing his history of self-harming, it was a delicate situation. And she needed to be extra careful. It was why his family too did not pressurize him much.
"My husband has my heart but you have touched it too...you have touched my heart, and no other man ever has."
Tinsley declared, pulling away from the hug, and looking straight into his eyes. And for a moment there was stiff silence.
