Chapter 104 - Helpful urges 6.

Sniffia earlier recognized the familiar, strange looking little girl was the one who saved her and her closed friends during the attempt to escape from the city of bounty hunters.

Where's Peirce? It runs through her mind as she sniffed, unfortunately the snarling and smell of the rotten creepers along with the grunting of the guards only grew stronger just under the sudden rains that falls of great intensity.

Sniffia stood just as lightning struck through the darkened clouds followed by back-to-back claps of thunder.

She felt the wind whizzed past her and every raindrop drenching down her blond hair and running through her furry clothes with such heaviness from nature, she turned to the little soaked girl and said;

"… I never get to thank you… "

The little girl only raised her wet face up, rain drops could be seen suspended on her eye lashes and many of the drops ran down her cheeks and lips, she stared into Sniffia's orange eyes without a word as the wet chain clamped around her neck clanks as the moon above partly illuminated down on them.

Sniffia sighed.

"What of your second…?" Sniffia asked knowing they were two of her.

The little girl didn't responded yet again but turned her dripping wet face to her right.

Sniffia followed her line of sight, spotted, Jamal on his desert beast and a little girl facing a thick brume which wasn't affected by the heavy rain.

She squinted hoping to know what she was looking at, then her orange eyes glowed surprisingly under her drenched blond hair; she could see clearly including what was inside the brume as though it was transparent only to her.

Huh, I can… see! What in the… She thought.

Inside the brume a portal appeared which Sniffia could see also.

A figure wearing on the head, a beanie while holding a bow without arrows or quiver on, came out from the portal.

She blinked. Who could that strange being be?

Suddenly she noticed at the center of the figure's bow, it forged into two arrows-like yellow beams pointing straight to Jamal and the little girl.

She gasped without hesitating rushed to where they stood in her soaked in leather boots before the arrow beam could reach the little girl in such unfathomed speed.

Sniffia manageably grabbed the girl as they both went down the dampened sand, dodging it by inches away. Jamal on the other hand, shielded the arrows beam shot at him with his two scimitars which slightly pushed him off from his desert beast reptile.

Jamal groaned, lowering his weapons as smoke emitted from both of them then looked down to Sniffia holding onto the little girl on the dampened desert floor as the rain pours on them.

To Jamal and his tribespeople, raining in the desert was never this heavy or never this long. It only rains briefly and that was all to it but tonight the sudden rain

felt different, it might be refreshing if they were not caught up in all this, still he should be grateful it rains these much.

Sniffia looked around for her dagger, Jamal noticed then thrusted one of his scimitars into the sand near Sniffia.

"You will need this, it's not like the short blade you often used but my scimitar could be an alternative for now… May I ask again who's the child in your arms. Another friend of yours?"

Sniffia was about to answer before glancing at the brume. Another one was coming! She swiftly reached for the scimitar, successfully deflected it as Jamal also shielded another one that came at him.

After, Jamal furrowed his brows, eyeballing the brume.

What are they up to? Also he was surprised, how in the world did Sniffia knew what and when such beams came out from the brume? He reasoned. Because the beams shot at them didn't glowed from within.

Then the thick brume gradually reduced, Jamal held his wet scimitar tightly ready to engage while his desert beast reptile groaned as the rain heavily showered from the night sky as though it won't stop any moment from now.

Sniffia suddenly gasped with a glowing eyes. Jamal glimpsed at her as the rain got more heavier, thinking maybe another round of beams were coming. He raised his scimitar ready to block it off, his long loosened-fitting robes were soaked to his body.

Sniffia's face went blank, looking fixedly towards where Peirce, Node and his Pregnant wife was.

Jamal eyes then fixated at Sniffia. Now thinking why she had that face.

"I see… your wife… I think she's pain?!" Sniffia stuttered.

"What..?!" Jamal blinked; How in the world is my wife still— Jamal was totally dumbfounded, all his thoughts were his wife with his children were on the boats along with his tribespeople however he wasn't sure how Sniffia could see from that far. Should he believed such words? But to be sure he needed to check it out.

"… and your children I can see them too, they're safely hiding in one of the wigwam…" Sniffia added.

Jamal's eyes went round.

"… They… " He turned his face to where Sniffia was staring at. Well, knowing how his wife normally behaves, She might be telling the truth.

"Damn!" A voice called out from the dying thick brume. Appeared to be one of the bounty collector's henchmen and women underlings, who earlier fought against the Divine Humanes.

He dragged his soaked wet beanie down covering his brows under the heavy rain.

"Damnit… Frankenstein, you never told me, we are dealing with kids this time."

His eyes rolled to the little girl in Sniffia's arms while she knelt on the dampened sand; Is that not one of the girls personally captured by the bounty collector? I thought she is—ugh! No wonder none of them came when Frankenstein asked them to...

"… Don't mind us… It's the boy I need." Frankenstein declared while sitting on the shoulder of the fat being.

"No, I'm going back, Frankenstein… I never told you I will be of help anyways," The being wearing a beanie turned back into the portal as he said, "Oh, the real reason why I came is just to tell you that I and everyone under the bounty collector were disbanded just after the destruction of the-you-know-what… so I wish you the very best. Do your thing and I will do mine. So, Bye." He fully entered into the portal as it disappears, the second little girl walked up to Sniffia and her sister.

Meanwhile, Jamal sat still on his desert beast reptile contemplating what to do? Whether to heed Sniffia's words, to go to where his family was or stay and fight with the girls.

He looked to the tribe's guards fighting; alerting the tribe's guards could be the best thing Jamal could do however they were all still surrounded by the rampaging creepers.

Jamal exhaled, looked at the three dripping wet girls standing under the heavy rain. None of them were saying anything or bothered to look at him while in front of the most dangerous being known to the leader of the tribe's guards.

"Please… save Peirce…" Sniffia spoke out without staring at him.

She stays only to take vengeance which was also in the two little girls' minds. If it was Jamal, protecting Peirce from them would be totally possible.

Jamal watched a little before a sigh.

"Well, I will take my leave. I'll be back as soon as I take care of it over there."

Jamal left on his desert beast reptile straight to where his wife might be just as Frankenstein waved goodbye to him with a smile on his face.

Right away, the two little girls zoomed at instant speed opposite direction to Frankenstein and his underlings then Sniffia directly rushed to him.

The two girls leapt with a punch, simultaneously. The fat being then blocked them at both sides using his palms however their little fists effortlessly pierced through, having felt no pain, the fat being tightly grabbed onto their hand restricting both little girls from moving.

Meanwhile Sniffia was about stabbing Frankenstein with the scimitar in her hand. Out of no where, Zero-Zero blocked it with his long metal rod creating a sudden strong wave that faintly pushed everyone within the affected area as the sands hollowed, followed by lightning that flashes within the darkened clouds above.

The tribe guards who were still fighting off the remaining creepers looked to what'd happened wondering if their leader was alright.

Sniffia slid though the dampened sand before stopping few meters away from Frankenstein, his underlings and the two little girls. She cracked her wet neck held the dripping wet scimitar up right under the wall of rains that fell on her; seems her movements were more sharper than before, meanwhile Zero-Zero nailed his long metal rod down to stop himself from moving any farther, raising his eyes noticed Sniffia was right in the air slashing at him. He dodged some, blocked a few along with splashes of water waves before swinging his weapon at Sniffia which the teenaged girl gracefully skirted then stabbed through his forehead.

Without a great deal of thought Sniffia needed to finish this quick. Peirce needed to be protected from the likes of them.

Then Zero-Zero dropped flat to the dampened desert ground.

Concurrently, the fat being lifted the little girls stuck in his palms about smashing them to the dampened desert ground the two girls both countered with a gritted teeth, their necks elongated, twisted around the arms of the fat being up to the shoulders with a great biting force to the neck while throwing the fat being over with a great thump as Frankenstein speedily got off the shoulder and landed few meters away.

The little girls removed their hand by shredding the palms of the fat being as their elongated neck retracted back to normal.

Relaxed Frankenstein stood, the linen bandages on him were soaked all over. The rain hit on him differently, staring at the scenery of the two little girls cleaning their bloody mouth with their hand while standing upon the fat being laying in the dampened sand under the heavily fallen rain.

He was slightly surprised that they were this strong but he simpered, placing his hand on his right soaked bandaged chin.

Though both girls were also forcedly experimented upon by Frankenstein making them this strong but his latest experiments so far were way stronger.

The fat being laying suddenly wrapped himself like a cannoned ball hit both girls away rolled around Frankenstein before stopping in his front.

Frankenstein scoffed then gallantly walked on top of him, took a glimpse at the not healing teeth marks on the fat being's neck then sat on his shoulder yet again.

He folded his arm staring at the two little girls who slowly erected from the dampened sand were they crater in, shaking off the water and sands off their body.

Then he looked over to Sniffia removing the scimitar off from the forehead of Zero-Zero.

... They have potentials. Frankenstein said to himself while simpering. His ambitious feelings strongly fell on him once again. This time around not only the boy, he now wanted the girls also for another sets of experiments.

Few moments ago before the sudden rain pours down to the deserted ground, at the village among the wigwams.

The huntress gasped then staggered.

"I-Impossible… " The huntress knelt in the sand as her fist flopped to the ground letting go of three darts from her palms and her other hand holding tightly onto her skean wobbled until she also lost her grip then her eyes rolled up at the being standing in front of her. "A… tranquilizer?!" She fretted.

Then lightning struck through the darkened clouds followed by back-to-back claps of thunder then it showers heavily on them.

"Much more than that." The being in front of her voiced appeared to be the pregnant woman just as she strongly gripped the huntress' wet hair back.

"Now tell me once again what happened between you and the girl?"

The huntress slowly raised her wet arched eyebrows with a forced smirk. Her eyes blazing into her crusher's eyes.

"I've already told you everything that happens, haven't I? What's there to hide." The Huntress truthfully said. "You won't live through this night, anyways."

The Pregnant woman stared at the Huntress' mouth, rain and blood from her head showers down her face to the sand.

"Good, only your croaked lips are moving then let my fist do the cleansing."

She was about punching then she froze.

"What are you kids still doing here? Go look for Sniffia, to see if she's alive or not."

"Yes ma'am!" Peirce and Node said in the midst of dripping wet, groaning hunters, some were kneeling and some laid on the deserted ground.

Out of no where something whizzed past the pregnant woman and the huntress which also tore through each rain drops it came in contact with in great speed directly at Node.

Peirce subconsciously caught it before it hit.

Node swallowed staring at what was.

The tip of it almost touching his right eye.

He swallowed yet again as water dripped down from his chin and soaked hair, gently took it from Peirce's wet grasp.

The glowing crystals dimly illuminated on them as they both knew what it was… it was Sniffia's dagger!

The pregnant woman stood up while holding the huntress up by her wet hair with a sigh, she stares through the shades from where the dagger was thrown. The sounds of raindrops pounding on the wigwams' walls and roofs raised above everything else at the scene for a moment until Jamal's pregnant wife yelled.

"Show your face!"

Then she exhaled as she said to herself. Ugh! They kept coming one after the other, wish they could have come altogether so as to take them on once and for all.

The huntress giggled. The pregnant woman rolled her eyes to the giggling huntress in her hand.

"Oh, you just made me more mad." She punched the huntress in the face thrice then flung her away. Taking a step towards the shadowy figure hiding in the shades, she suddenly felt dizzy, staggered a little then held her belly bulging out from her wet clothes.

Her breaths increases however she held herself once more, hoping everything will be over before she conceives.

"You seems different from the other beings here, perhaps you're not one of them." Dryad's uncle voiced as he walked out of the wigwams' shades few distance from them.

The pregnant woman groaned, stood still then her full body glowed in Beige as the wet sand underneath her feet reflects her glow, largely illuminated on everyone and everything around then lightning flashes within the darkened clouds above.

"And what is your take in this?"

She strained a little under the heavy rain, faintly giving an expression she was gradually reaching her limit.

Dripping wet Peirce and Node stood glaring at Dryad's uncle, in their minds thinking.

… He knows where Sniffia is.

Then Peirce's eyes glowed in green as his fist balled with a whisper of Sniffia's name slipping out from his lips.
