Chapter 96 - Enshrouded.

Meanwhile at the Humane Kingdom's Palace was seated on the throne King Randall glancing at the Divine Humanes before him with two unrecognized beings kneeling, few Royal Guards in blue cape stood around the corners of the throne room.

After being told to the king of everything that happened on retrieving Jared as the Divine Humanes encountered the Bounty Collector's henchwomen and henchmen by Gage along with Dante and who the Revealers truly were by June. He sighed, the king had been through a lot within those days too; He lost the Divine Humane of strength to the hands of an entity outside this world, the kingdom was invaded by the Male Aurorae after all it was predicated to the public as Lady June mentioned; startled by the child he'd have soon and his beloved birthed female child who may be married into the Nymphs sooner than expected was named the protector of the world by two mysterious creatures who identified themselves as the Immortals however their words were hard to follow only to understand that she would be taken a year and the half later which the king haven't fully agreed to it yet.

All these slightly paved the way of disfavored conclusions on why he hurryingly left the kingdom the first place, if he didn't maybe some of the heavy-hearted situations could be avoided.

Nevertheless the King was conceived about what was told by his mother to his young self; 'Amidst any tragedy there is still a reason to be thankful.'

He looked around.

"Where's my daughter and Lord Abbey?"

"The Princess with Lord Abbey are in the courtyard training as we speak, your highness." June answered.

Gosh, can't they have some rest after everything that has happened so far, well it was my mistake for bringing her up like that.

He looked at Jared. "Is good to see everyone is here once again but sadly, the Divine Humane of strength left us so soon."

"She will be missed…"

"She died a shero's death…" The Divine Humanes bowed as they spoke with grief.

The most painful truth of all, our loved ones die and life still continues.

"Before we end things here on what we will do to maintain the unity in our kingdom along with what is happening to the Aurora clan of now, who are these two kneeling before me?" Randall questioned about the two Inhumanes kneeling, he noticed one was blind and the other a lady in cloak with bruises on her face and wrists.

Seems the Male Aurorae failed to conquer the Humanes living within these walls. The lady in cloak thought.

"They are the captured underlings of the bounty collector from the city we retrieved Jared," Dante said. Hasn't told them about the tamed creature he almost killed was known to be a Kirin but it slipped away from his grasp before eventually capturing the woman who tried to attack him over again during the fight.

"Was," the blind Inhumane said, "I was an underling to the once called bounty collector but as of now I serve under Lord Jared."

Jared looked at him, slightly surprised, Randall stared to Jared with a blink; figures, last time you brought a little girl now a… then he sighed.

"Well, since he is now your lord you're welcome to do what ever you want to make a living but mind you, here in the Kingdom we are all one, coming from the main gate to here you must undoubtedly noticed beings that are not of our kind, be friendly to them with no racial discrimination or whatsoever, we—"

"Actually, king I'm more of an Inhumane,"

The Royal Guards were furious, setting their teeth on the edge; interrupting their King when speaking. Is an insult! Randall raised his hand stopping them from coming closer and to calm themselves, the Divine Humanes presented there glared at him excluding Jared who lowered his head about apologizing to the King.

"An Inhumane, so you mean…" Randall spoke. Then the blind Inhumane glowed in white for a while. Randall nodded. "Fair enough, I love the color of your glow after the forger that is." He looked at the kneeling lady facing the ground, biting her lower lip while clenching her fists to the ground. "Is she also…"

"I don't know my king as I personally fought her." Dante said, "I did not see or felt who she is… maybe—"

"An Inhumane also, unfortunately she lost the ability to glow." The blind Inhumane truthfully told them.

Her face flushed while she gazed at the boy, "I can't believe you shrouded under a Divine Humane right after you betrayed the bounty collector who want their heads, what meaning was the training we had to bring down the strong no matter what, tell me! Tell me what did you do to the bounty collector?!"

"Enough!" Gage spoke spooking her from behind, "You have no fear?" She shakenly looked behind on seeing Gage revolting at her attitude when in front of the king, folding his arms in his reflective armor, she faced down immediately terrified knowing nothing could be done to free herself from the hands of the Divine Humanes around her. " … you are lucky we are not alone, you would be twelve feet under by now. Watch what you say from now on."

"Ahem… Lord Gage let her be," Randall coughed, glanced at her, "… sorry for how the Divine Humanes treated you in the past, we believe everything will be repaid… by letting the two of you go freely."

"My King! This is not what we discussed, letting one free was agreeable to some extent but to allow both of them, this…" Gage protested.

"Bring me her weapon, Lady June release her.." Randall ordered, suddenly one of the Royal Guards in blue cape came with her gothic war hammer. Randall held it while inspecting the weapon.

"This is definitely a cool hammer a gothic war hammer to be precise." He looked at her then slid the hammer to her. "I, Randall Hylas, take full responsibility to what the Divine Humanes did to you, your comrades and your master, have your weapon do what's needed to be done."

The Royal Guards in blue cape were completely surprised, he looked at everyone.

"No one or potency should be used to stop this woman, let her alone decide what will be the outcome of this given opportunity." Randall desired to show the Inhumanes kneeling before him as a King and a leader taking things too personally won't amount to anything after all there are more bigger issues at hand than a riled lady.

"My pleasure." The lady smirked, ran to take her weapon rushed to Randall, leapt with a swung of her weapon in yellow sparkles towards his head before anything she visibly saw a violently glares of a hot form spewing out from the King's body.

Her eyes dilated as she hesitated landing closer to the throne then took many steps backwards in fear as her gothic war hammer clanked to the ground while staring at the dominating hazy-form in white flames clinching upon the King's shoulders still glaring deeply at her, she shakenly pointed to the hazy-form however it was only visible to her, she looked around in shock as everyone looked confused on what made her terrified, well their King is sometimes scary with or without revealing his consuming potency but why was she pointing over to the King's shoulders, she staggered back, sweating profusely and fell with a gasp, it was as though while she stared into the mysterious form her energy was been taken away from her exceedingly.

"Oh, you could see her also, don't hold your breath she only shows herself to beings she's interested in." Randall revealed. Then looked at the gothic war hammer on the ground.

"Guess you have made a choice."

Randall glanced at the Royal Guards.

"Take them to see how much the kingdom has grown and every Royal Guards do leave us, I wish to discuss something else with the Divine Humanes alone."

The Royal Guards all bowed marching the two Inhumanes out of the throne room as the blind Inhumane and the lady were transported out of the throne room, the blind Inhumane flicked his left ear back before the massive door was shut, he heard as Randall saying;

"There's an Extraterrestrial being existing…"

"--Huh? Godfather Krystallo!" One of the blue caped Royal Guards spoke, seeing an old man holding a stick almost as tall as he was aiding him in moving to them.

The woman in cloak rolled her eyes to the old man, on seeing the stick on the old man's hand, Her pupils dilated, her heart rate increases as she held the chocker around her neck.

The cleft of the Kirin's antler was in the hand of the old man!

"My, my, my… has the stairs increased or what. My back are all aching from climbing, you young bloods think of something to make beings like me easier to come here." The old man said.

The Royal Guards bowed their head to Dante's grand father.

"In due time, Sire, things will be better."

"Good, good. Where is the King, is he home? I heard from my son he's back from his trip." The old man said as he stood looking at the Royal Guards in blue cape Including the two Inhumanes with them.

"The King is right inside with the Divine Humanes conversing, Sire."

"Alright, I will stay and wait, then."

"No, Sire you can go in, the King won't mind."

"Ha, ha, ha… let me stay, you never know maybe what they are discussing is about building a lift in the castle for old beings like me. I don't want to ruin the surprise." The old man joked.

The Royal Guards laughed. "Well, Sire we will be on our way. The King sent us some errands."

"You may go."

They all bowed as they walked away. Dante's grandfather stared at the massive door for sometime then looked behind to the Royal Guards with the Inhumanes. That is some troubled lady I see perhaps the way I dress offended her.

Somewhere deep within the haven of the Forest Nymphs, a lightly breathing figure was seen on a bed, bandaged from the head down in an imperfectly illuminated cavern coming from the single glowing crystal glued at the bottom corner of the room. Suddenly the figure's bandaged fingers flickered, both the mind and the body were experiencing a trauma arising out of a certain event then the figure raised the upper body up, screaming out resulting in a low sharp cry made by the bandages on the mouth then stopped with the scream, breathing uncontrollably, turning the bandaged head to every corner of the room hoping to grasp what and where this place was, jolted the hands around the bandaged face while mumbling soon after the only door in the cavern opened wide. The mumbling bandaged figure turned the ear area to the sound of the door.

"How do you feel about coming back to life," The voice at the doorway spoke while walking in who later appeared to be Dryad's uncle in his silver breastplate.

 "… Doctor Frankenstein?"
