Chapter 48 - Resorts.

Around them the burning trees against the steaming grounds were severely damaged full with cratered surfaces most of them emitting smokes as hot gentle wind moves in place of the suspense among Randall and Priscilla. Even though this was never the story or things the Egregious being could possibly thought of for it first time in their world, but to the Egregious being it was more... captivating!

"Today is my lucky day." Fake Randall rejoiced. "I'm in shock to see how great and mighty you are fallen in love with your King--"

Without warning Priscilla charged to Fake Randall with a punch, it connected well that made everywhere that was already battered shook to the grounds after, she gave Fake Randall another punch at his chin lifting him up, then held back his leg and crashed him to the rocky steaming grounds, every remnant trees and dregs in the perimeter were blown away by the force of impact as Randall stood observing with his cape strongly swaying behind revealing his healed limbless right arm.

"I'm sorry. For making fake promises." He whispered beneath the distant clomping sound of Priscilla stomping Fake Randall into the ground with her feet. Then she stopped slightly breathing hard. She felt this alone will teach the Egregious being not to mess with an Aurorae.

Fake Randall, slowly turned his smashed face to Priscilla standing above him with a grin.

"Ooo~ is it me or your strength only increases by fiercely hitting me because I looked more the same as your King over there?" Fake Randall taunted.

Priscilla clenched his teeth and gave a direct punch to Fake Randall chest as he burrowed deep down to the soil.

She leapt out of the hole then back smashing her two feet against Fake Randall as the hole got deeper and wider with the thought of burying what ever she must have thought she felt for her King down to the floor.

Was the Egregious being right about what she feels?

She jumped out of the hole while Fake Randall was concealed alongside the dregs.

Out from the hole, she went to the nearest huge boulder dug out from the fight earlier, carried it with ease, walked directly back to the hole's edge without looking down to Fake Randall if he was there or not, Suddenly, she smashed it—blocking concealed-Fake Randall from escaping.

After doing so she sighed then walked towards her King—She's certainly an Aurorae—with how tall and muscled she was infront of Randall. She Bowed with one kneel with her face down. Randall didn't say a word but looked at her with no sentimental reasons.

Suddenly, the ground where Fake Randall was buried was opened wide by a deducting violet beam—came out of it revealed not Fake Randall but a form with a glowing long violet hair, his two fist's area and leg's area glows in violet also while the remaining part of it body were plain white with no face but it spoke in an orotund tone saying, "Is that the reason why? How nonsensical you little gifted are. Love or Hatred alone can't make you stronger-with your kind of strength many threats outside your world will surely invade without mercy if care is not taken."

"Fool. The greater threat to our world is the believe that somebody else will save it." Priscilla said as she rose up staring down at Randall overshadowing her King.

"My King? Don't you worry I have already given up the hope not long ago." She slightly turned her head up side glancing at the transfigured being levitating slightly far from them.

"Saving this world from fries like this was my true goal anyway." she turned walked a few steps, kissed her palm then placed it on her forehead.

Suddenly, an invisible aura radiated from her body.

"Now feel the power of an Aurorae at maximum!"

She leaped at the transfigured being at fast pace, on striking the being. It pull back allowing Priscilla to lose her balance while in the air but that wasn't the case she stepped on the air with a greater force creating thin solidified layer in the air then bounced towards the slightly agitated being with a punch; the whole air pealed then a ball of light shone in-between Priscilla and the transfigured being until it engulfed them completely exploding everything beneath and around them in seconds, once again when the explosion hit the barrier it suddenly went numbed.

Meanwhile Randall's held his cape to cover his limbless arm that was cut off by the transfigured being earlier as he watches the explosions becoming as nothing when it touches the barrier with no surprises he then looked up to the sky at the two monstrosity fighting watching them furtively.

Priscilla, breathes in and out vaguely while still standing in the air on the thin solidified layer she'd created by the amount of friction she puts in as it was smoky from the other side where the transfigured being was.

"Seriously, again. If this is the current strength you little gifted could yield, no wonder no one as taken over it yet cause' it will be a waste of time invading your huge world." The transfigured being said following the dissipated smoke as his little whitish pinky finger was placed right in front of Priscilla's fist.

She stared down to her fist at the tightness in her eyes.

"You—blocked that?!" She faltered, the transfigured beings also looked at his pinky finger. He noticed his glowing violet area on his hand was gone—this was impossible for any being not to talk about a little gifted like her could automatically diminished his glowing finger.

For the first time the transfigured being was flattered.

Then with a faint smirk which fraction of it could be seen on his faceless face, he said to himself; They won't believe me if I told them about this matter but. The transfigured being looked down to Priscilla—Due to the being was a little bit taller than her.

"But my pride won't let me." He said, extended it's other hand to Priscilla's face with it's palm opened wide, she also felt something stronger, she'd never felt before; 'Freezing' feeling rooted to the spot with her strength being drained from her.

This can't be happening… I can't move my body? She wondered, it was as if she was being held on one spot by someone she knew from the Divine Humanes that was 'June' but this time she wasn't only frozen but she also felt the word 'fear' in her as she stared into the 'Faceless Being' Beads of sweat rolled down her face from her forehead while the being's hand move slowly to her frightened face. Is this the end of me? She thought as Luna's emotionless face flashes on her mind then slowly she closed her eyes.

"Yes that is what I'm talking about, little gifted. Giving up is the best way to—" it stopped then stared at its lower body as a huge white flaming hand grabbing tightly onto him as smoke swam out from his whitish skin. The transfigured being looked at Randall's position where he stood to his amazement Randall was still there as the King also fiercely focused on him.

If he is still there then who is the owner of this 'painful ability?' The transfigured being wondered suddenly, the hand dragged the transfigured being away from Priscilla as Randall suddenly appeared behind her, gently placing his hand around her muscled lower side.

"You saving the world is the right thing to do but who else will save you when coming across something far greater than your abilities? That's me. Your King." Randall said, Priscilla lowered her head as she fought back tears this reminds her of the time she and Randall were young while on the cliff.

This was the same words Randall told her, because the King was the only man that actually wrestled with her and won during their time on the cliff.

"I'm truly grateful and I'm sorry for the pains I might have put you through. Sometimes what one most desires can be the reason one retires away from life."

Priscilla chuckled, Randall looked at her.

"Your rhymes are still surly as before." She said while her head was still lowered.

Randall turned to the rumbling and trembling from afar; it was the transfigured being! tearing to them with great speed then he yelled,

"Show me what you got little gifted! I'm all yours!!" Immediately, a wall of fire rose between the transfigured being and Randall, it stopped with a tilted head then it said; "Strange." Stretched it hands into the wall of fire, a crackles sound follows after. "Hmmm?" he removed his hand feeling a prickly and stinging touch on his hand then without warning the flames in front of him rose more lengthened and wider—the transfigured being was like a tiny fly in front of the wall of fire becoming an modulating wavy form as it overwhelmed the being in an instant burned-down, both the grounds and the trees around completely engulfed with flames as the Unyielding fire spread all around the forest then what follows was magma erupting from the ground creating lava to flow towards every cratered and cracked grounds Priscilla and the transfigured being created from their earlier fight.

Randall left out a harsh breath.

"Once again. I offended the nature around me." He muttered for the love he had for nature.

He then dropped Priscilla gently to the ground.

"Rest, gain back your strength." He said then walked through his flames, stepping into the lava he created unhurt. "Where do you come from? I enquired of you, What was the barrier made of? I enquired of you, the reason you came to our world? I enquired of you. But none of this you answered not in a way one could fully understand. You call us grains that were planted for some reason. You call us little gifted for what you see in us. You briefly spoke about the immortals and dragons who once lived in our world, so I believed." Randall stopped right in front of the scorched and mangled being afloat facedown in the lava.

"What I don't get is this? Why was it fun to blindly enter our world and talk some nasty things about who and how we live? And another question. To whom were you referring to, calling the little gifted."

Randall illuminated in his white flames while Priscilla couldn't help herself, her eyes widened seeing how Randall illuminated the battered surroundings under his white flames—He is the only man worthy of her. In that moment her eyes lid dropped from the thought of Randall not having the same sensory state she had for him—She'd know the only pain she is feeling right now was the pain of not fighting along side with her King, weaving the pains of her feelings. 'You are not the only one with a problem'

Right around the thought of it, the scorched and mangled being was stealthily right behind Priscilla. This time it was not faceless. It revealed his big canines, grinning with a violet upturned eyes which glows.

From afar Randall noticed something was wrong with the being laying afloat in the lava; spotted some emissions of rapid stream of bubbles around the body as it slowly dissolved into the lava leaving a stain of violet color without hesitation after feeling a strange force, he turned his face back to where Priscilla was to his amazement Priscilla was holding the scorched and mangled being by his neck as his feet was right above the ground.

Was it a clone? Randall wondered, If it was a clone his body would've been free from the injuries from my flames that means he dodged it right after he was hit by my flames. Or the one here was just a mirage to distract me… but that was not the case.

Randall walked over to the being afloat.

"Never underestimate the power of an Humane." He said aloud.

The transfigured being slowly held Priscilla hands as it grunted.

"Good bye." Priscilla said then tightened her grip deep into it neck in matter of seconds it burst followed by the transfigured being's head popping out from it's body, then she leaped and kicked it's head, slamming it to the barrier to her left.

"Don't be surprise when you see your head off your body. I'd warned you, didn't I?" Priscilla stared at her hand filled with colorless, slippery liquid—it was the blood of the transfigured being. She shook her hands, splattering it to the ground.

"At least you bleed." She admitted.
