Meanwhile at Jared's home in the Kingdom of the Humane, he was seated, attentively reading under the flames on a torch, illuminating on a book about the history of the Beast kingdom in the ancient language of the Beast, fortunately he could read it. The book was taken by him during the war against the Silver maned Wolf pack—one of the strongest isolated pack dwelling outside the Beast Kingdom.
He placed his finger on the ancient Beast writing one after the other.
"The Beast Kingdom were one of the earliest being in the world, who saw the great war between the Dragons and the Immortals... They believed they were cursed by the Dragons through the way they gave birth, at least in five... according to them they were created from billions of stars above... On the day of Eclipse, fully grown Beast get hundred times stronger while in their Beast mode and for those that had their awakening on that day, they will grow to become one of the strongest as the ones to challenge any of the Alphas one day... " He reviewed, "there are many Alphas in the Beast Kingdom but the three strongest and oldest are the Obae, the Obie and the Emur who are alive still today... Rumours said that one of them truly knows where the Beast in the bottomless hole is located and how to get there, but many have failed or never returned from their journey to the place... But this book holds everything you need to know about the Beast in the bottomless hole including... the true location... "
suddenly he heard thunder rumbling outside his doorway, he stopped reading, closed the book and put it among few books on the wooden table then he heard a knock on his door, he stood up and opened the door.
"What do you want, Lord Abbey?" He questioned, staring directly into Abbey's brown eyes,
"Thank you for accepting me into your house. it over decades now, Lord Jared," Abbey said as he entered, looking around, he nodded, "how I love your taste, Lord Jared," he said with a smile.
The little room Jared lived him only consist of a single bed and his wooden furniture with a lot of books on the table as well as on his shelf which was right below the torch but another door was seen at the left hand side of the room, probably someone's room. who could have been? Well for a Lord to live in this kind of incidental place was not surprising in the likes of Lord Jared.
Jared closed the door behind him,
"I will say it again. What do you want Lord Abbey?"
"Hmmm." Abbey sat down on the chair looked at the books on the table then looked at Jared, "just to say hi to a really old friend of mine," he said in a fruity tone as he placed his hand on the table,
"Did he knows?" Jared thought,
"Lord Jared, do you believe the stories of the extinction of Dragons are nothing else but lies, hmmm?" Abbey asked, drumming his fingers on the table, causing little sparks of lightening, transmitting from his finger to the table, Jared narrowed his eyes,
I told them to keep their mouth shut! it's never something they can just say to anyone. Jared mulled over, then he stood his ground slightly glowering at Abbey.
"I suspected so, yet my belief they are extinct is far greater than they exist now," Jared argued, Abbey shook is head, looking at the flames on the stick in front of the table, burning freely,
"The King, Randall use to say this word with a smile; There was never butterflies just Fire." then he chuckled,
"what's funny?" Jared asked,
"I remembered the years of close friendship we had together, though I am little bit older than you but it was... after all boisterous."
"Yeah, that was thirty years ago before we became Lords,"
"And before you betrayed me," Abbey said as he clenched his fist on the table, right above them, the clouds were flooding together as thunders rumbled, Jared looked up, then at Abbey,
"You were obsessed with power," Jared reminded,
"Why won't I. Can't you see, I can command the weather!" Abbey expressed, stood up, lightning quick as his body sparked,
Jared shook his head,
"Are you still looking for it," he asked, Abbey blinked then he sat down back, it made Jared sighed. "We all know nothing good comes from waking it up, we are protectors of the Humane kingdom not destroyers," Jared said as he moved towards Abbey.
Abbey tapped his fingers on the table,
"Lord Jared, let's forget about me, let's talk about you." he fixed gazed at him,
"Do Dragons exist? You are the only Lord that know much about them." Abbey looked at the flames once again. "Hmmm, Lord Jared?"
"Lord Abbey, as you can see, it is really dark and your wife and your little boy will be waiting for you. You should leave," Jared said.
Abbey stroke his ponytail, "Yeah, you are always right the Divine humane, however I told them I have a Lord's meeting to attend to," he stood staring at Jared, "let's talk about you once more, where are your family?"
"My family? You and I know that I don't have any,"
"Then who is the girl, you kept from us over this years?"
"Lord Abbey, your family should be waiting for you, please leave,"
"I won't, if you don't tell me the truth I need to hear. You only took the girl for missions then back to your house without a word, even the King seems not to care."
"The truth. Okay the truth is… " Jared said, Abbey moved closer, smiling,
"Yes, go on,"
"The truth is I don't know of any girl you speak of." Jared said as he left Abbey front to sit on the chair, Abbey took a harsh breath,
"Okay let's settle it then, I call for the Divine match to know the truth," Abbey said, Jared widened his eyes and stood up,
"No not that Abbey, we should not go that far,"
"Why not? To know the truth of course, if you don't tell me, then that is my ethical reason to know the truth between the girl and you and remember if you refuse to yield the Revealer with will take it by force," Abbey claimed, Jared clenched his fist together,
"You don't know what you are doing Lord Abbey, all because of the truth, you will go this far, huh?"
"If that will make you tell me, I'm welcome to know the truth,"
Jared sighed, "okay, if I win the Divine match we will never talk about it to each other anymore,"
Abbey smiled, "Sure. That is one of the rules in the fight and when I win we will meet the Revealer to reveal everything," Abbey challenged, Jared and Abbey fixed gazed at each other for some seconds, then Jared sighed,
"Let's do it," Jared decided,
"With pleasure," Abbey said with a smile, immediately he went to Jared held his shoulders, raised his eyes to the sky as his eyes sparkled while the sky disclosed thunders rolling then a flash of light discharged between the clouds from the sky to where Jared and Abbey were standing, the lightning pierced through the hole on the ceiling and stroke Jared and Abbey, made them to suddenly teleported, into a desolate isle.
Jared sparkled a little, then he looked around,
"Wow! You really are serious about this matter," He said looking at Abbey walking to the other side, "You don't need to know," Jared said, Abbey stopped then looked back almost a mile from him,
"If the truth about the girl is not so important, you should have tell me at that moment in your room,"
"Lord Abbey, think about the outcome before doing all this,"
"Think? What should I think about? Don't you know, lightning never think if you're a carrier before acting, I never think to act. I act and act and act," as he was talking a surge of lightning filled his body suddenly.
Jared sighed, "Just for a girl? But to protect her from the world and from her kind. I will protect the truth,"
Abbey smiled, "hmmm, I myself, am starting to know about this girl you spoke of. We will never know, before this fight ends the truth will definitely come out," Abbey said as the clouds above him covered the stars in the sky, Jared held out his hands, ready to fight.
"May the strongest win," Jared said in a modulated tone then Abbey smirked.
