Boros burst forward in a flash of pink light, and I already knew my best wasn't gonna cut it. A swift punch to the gut was all I received but I already feel like I am almost dead.
That punch probably crushed a lot of important stuff.
The power of the punch shot me through several large pillars that were dotted throughout the oversized throne room.
My body embedded itself in a pillar and blood flowed out of my mouth like an overflowing sink.
'Well this is just unfair.'
I quickly coughed up the rest of the blood coming out and regenerated my body. I think that punch nearly put a hole in my stomach.
'The first problem that I find is that I can't follow his movements at all. So I have to either slow him down or stop him somehow. No way am I just getting fast enough to fight back before he ends me.'
The slow building of my strength had become somewhat unconscious but it was tapering off. It seemed I was approaching a mental block of sorts.
Before I could plan anymore, an explosion from the pillar in front of me followed by Boros told me I had to think of a plan, quickly.
I had reacted to the explosion by immediately burrowing myself into the pillar by moving it around me, and then going into the floor.
I was swimming through the ground while thinking of a plan. Boros seemed to know where I am somewhat despite my hiding, but he was toying with me since he probably noticed my increasing strength was not really rising anymore.
He could probably have beat me even if he still had his armour on.
Well I pretty much cheated to get my strength so it's only fair. Maybe actual physical training will fix that.
Getting away from distracting myself from impending death, I thought of a plan.
'Gegallanshop could increase the strength of gravity with psychic abilities, so I will be able to do that too. Maybe on a stronger level.'
I came out of the ground and Boros stopped, his chin raised seeing me sluggishly get out of the ground.
"Giving up already? We just started." Boros taunted.
He seemed to think of himself as super important but he was nothing but a pirate.
I focused myself on Boros and felt my eyesight get sharper. Despite Boros not moving I could see he was preparing to move.
One of my eyes had changed from magenta to purple. I had started to focus more than I ever had before.
I saw the muscles in Boros flex and I could tell he was moving. The prime opportunity to pressure him would be as soon as he stops just before attacking me.
I knew he would. He wanted to be as intimidating as possible, and a slow but strong punch would deliver that perfectly.
My eyes followed his trail as it glided behind me.
He was behind me, I could tell that for sure. An unknown pressure is the scariest after all.
'Now!'
I was able to tell where he was behind me just in time, and I increased the gravity on him. I heard the ship crack as I saw Boros caught off-guard by the sudden increase in gravity.
I increased the strength of gravity by over twenty times. I am not sure how strong the gravity is on other planets, but considering Boros isn't accidentally floating upwards on this planet I can assume it's somewhat similar.
"So you've increased the gravity like Geryuganshoop, have you?" Boros got up slowly and adjusted his body.
He would seem unaffected if not for the cracks on the ship underneath him.
It seemed to hinder him more than I thought, but less than I hoped. I didn't lose focus though. I knew I would have to track him accurately or it could very well be the end of me.
"Hm. You seem desperate." He started talking.
That means he was either extremely confident, which I could totally understand if the gravity wasn't actually affecting him that much, or...
He's stalling.
"How about I allow you one hit on me."
He presented himself as he walked slowly and deliberately.
He wanted to pretend that he wasn't affected, but I could see the strain. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough to weaken him.
"That would be great." I agreed immediately.
If I could think up something crazy enough I might be able to do some decent damage at least.
"Come. Try to hurt me."
"Alright, give me a few minutes."
He seemed confused but allowed me to do so out of intrigue as to what I would need to prepare for so long for.
My teeth sharpened as per the dragon persona and a ball of energy appeared in front.
I merely imagined energy rather than densified flames and got this. It was electric blue in colour and it was growing in size.
I wrapped my hands that were still clawed around it and it increased in size even faster.
"Fascinating. You are also able to harness the latent energy in your body."
Boros didn't seem to notice that the energy wasn't coming from herself but rather the power core of the ship.
The ship had sunk slightly but no one had noticed.
I could see some excitement from Boros as his own body flexed harder through the lightened weight of the originally harsh gravity.
I started to ignite the air around me and infuse flames into the energy ball to increase the power through heat, turning the ball of energy into a beautiful galaxy coloured spectacle.
And then, without warning, I fired it.
But, rather than taking the hit like he said he would, he fired his own energy back at mine. He had a sharp toothed smile on as he fired it.
"Ahahahaha! Finally something worth my time!"
The beams clashed in a violent explosion that blew apart the top of the ship and cascaded into the sky in a flurry of blue and purple, wrapped in an explosion of flames flying up with it.
Neither side was winning as both energies petered out.
'Dammit if only getting stronger was easy. Well for me it already was, but whatever.'
Then and there, as I looked at the energy dissipated into nothing, an idea struck.
If I could create any type of energy, does that include potential and kinetic energy?
My body wouldn't be able to handle the power, but it was all I had.
Ideas didn't come too easily to me since I wasn't very creative, but this would easily do.
"Hahahaha! Now this is a fight!" Boros seemed to have forgotten how weak I was physically compared to him after seeing that spectacle.
He was excited now.
With a burst of speed that I couldn't perceive, he shot at me.
I had a counter now however.
I created a weird form of kinetic energy that glowed around my body and my hand collided with his fist mid-air.
The force of the kinetic energy broke both my legs and my arm but it shot Boros back in an incredible explosion of power. I regenerated both as quickly as I could and followed him.
This is where I would turn the battle around.
I could feel the headache of overusing my powers start to act up but I wouldn't let it stop me. Not right now.
A barrage of punches that would barely regenerate in time for me to hit one after the other.
Boros quickly broke out of it in an explosion of energy around him, forcing me back.
Dragon wings exploded out of my back with a wing span over four times my height. One flap brought a tremendous amount of wind as I rushed back toward him.
My pupils turned completely white leaving me with purple and magenta rings in my eyes. My vision had focused entirely on Boros and any threats. Everything unimportant was just a void to me.
In my burst of speed my claws pierced into Boros, drawing red blood from the alien. Breaking them off into him I regrew them and continued a calculated slashing that danced around his counters and blocks.
His regeneration was even better than the Deep Sea King's as he seemed to survive anything that I threw his way.
As my advantage went on, he seemed greatly irritated that I was suddenly able to keep up with him, if not a little more.
He had grown on a planet with an extremely harsh climate, how could some easy living earthling beat him?
He has fought many foes around the universe but all fell before his raw power, sharpening his skills as fought, but now he was fighting against someone who was mixing incredible power with incredible skill.
Any hits he would be able to hit would be deflected and any counter attacks were woven around like a mouse dodging the pursuit of a cat.
Boros could see clearly that his opponent was regenerating through her own attacks landing on him. It was obvious that she was on her last legs, but he didn't like that he couldn't hit her.
Even a block would be more satisfying than her dodging and deflecting.
Through the streak of pink and black came a pink explosion.
Boros was ending this fight now, whether it cost him his lifespan or not, he still wanted to fight Saitama.
"Meteoric burst!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In a burst of pink light I felt punches come from every direction. His speed doubled and I couldn't follow him anymore.
I had no more ideas but I could go for a lucky punch using all the rest of my power that I can muster. The headache at this point had made me near the verge of fainting and now that he was actually hitting me more than I could process I knew the battle was near the end for me.
So, pumping my arm full of kinetic energy, enough to see blood glow and crack through my skin I punched as hard as I could.
I had predicted where he would be when I punched with my focus at the extreme and it came to fruit as it collided with Boros' chest, sending him away from me.
The force of the punch had completely evaporated the entirety of my arm, but I was already unconscious before I could do anything about it and fell forward.
We were on the roof of the ship, but I was near the large hole we had blown into it, so I fell in.
Saitama, noticing this, caught me while I fell from the newly installed skylight.
I never wanted to do that kinetic energy trick again.
A/N: Well, that's the end of season 1 of this book. Because it's also the end of the first season of the anime.
I said before that I would take a break after this, but as you can tell, I took two long breaks while writing the finisher to this, so, I won't be doing that.
I made Fukui able to stand up to Boros a decent bit without making her extremely overpowered with no drawback.
Always need drawbacks to strong powers.
