The day that Dexter has finally been waiting for has arrived. It was finally the day that Solomon's Journey, SJ for short, will be released. It is the first-ever fully immersive virtual reality game made in human history. In the universe of Solomon's Journey, Fantasy meets science and where order and chaos are best friends. A universe of endless possibilities in which anyone can become the invincible hero fighting against the forces of darkness or a villain who wishes to destroy the world.
It is a 100% immersive VRMMORPG that allows players to bring their innate real-world skills to the virtual world, is launched and supported by the World Central Bank. This game wasn't fair at all, and the strong and skilled in real life will be stronger in the game. It is said that there are several types of magic and skills unique to each character and a seemingly unlimited amount of equipment and elements with different types of qualities are available within the game. Not only that, the NPC is like actual humans, making it seem more like an actual second world. This is the reason, Dexter wants to play the game. He wants to leave this boring real world and live in a fantasy world where all his imagination can come true.
Dexter got out a black limousine which stopped in front of his mansion and ran through the door and turned to one of the maids.
"Has the installers came?" Dexter asked, not stopping and running into the room.
"No, young master." The maid said, bowing. "They will be coming in about 30 minutes to install the capsule and set it up."
"Good. I am going to take a shower so when they come, send them to the room I told you about." Dexter said, getting naked. "No one tells mother or father about this. If any of you let it slip, you and your family won't like it."
Dexter jumped into his big bath and started cleaning.
"Mother and father must not know about this game. They told me that I am not allowed to play the game unless my grade is above 90%, but who cares. At least my grade is an 85% and it is not like I am going to college." Dexter murmured, looking at the clock high up in the wall. "Damn. When are those fuckers going to come? The game server will open up at nine in the even and it is already 8:40."
Dexter quickly finished taking a shower and changed into a white robe. When he was about to call why the installers haven't come, his maid knocked on the door and informed him that they have been completed.
"Why didn't you tell me when they came!?" Dexter shouted at the maid as he rushed to toward the room.
"You were getting dressed young master..."
"I told you to tell me when they came," Dexter said, entering the room. "Forget it.
"The installation has been finished Sir Dexter and it also has a timer for only 8 hours a day in which you specified since you are still 17 years old." the installer said, walking up to him. "Please sign here, here, and here..."
"Wait, only 8 hours? Increase it. It is too short." Dexter said, looking at the installers. Although he already knows why that is. For ages 13 and below a guardian is needed to accompany the child while for those 14 to 17 years of age a time limit is decreed for them since they can play unsupervised though there are ways around that.
"How much time do you want to be added." The man handing Dexter the contract said sternly.
"That easy?" Dexter said, looking at the man.
"You are not the first to ask me and it is not I will be the one dying from playing the game too much. So how much time?" The man said, walking to the capsule.
"Ok... So, put full 24 hours." Dexter said, signing the paper and waiting for the man to be done.
The man finished and Dexter took the paper and signed it. "Have fun." The man said, taking back the contract and left the room. "Have fun."
Dexter went to the game pod and started getting inside it. The game pod was an egg-shaped machine that has a metallic black color. The surface is smooth so that it ensures the user less cleaning maintenance. The inside of the pod has soft cushions that conform to the user inside which optimizes maximum comfort and it could rival any high-class bed on sale in the market.
After getting on the pod, he told his maids "Do not disturb me." which he then closed the pod without waiting for fo a reply.
