Prelude
The little kid between 5 and 8 are sitting around a campfire waiting for their bed time story from the village grand parent. It's the same story that has been past down for over a 100 years. The story tells of a alpha wolf that will one day be born. He will be all white and stronger then any alpha before him. The only way to identify this alpha will be the birth mark he bares on his body. As a human the birthmark is visible but it could pass as a tattoo. There is one thing that makes this birth mark special. When the alpha turns this birthmark will shine a bright red.
It is said that this legendary alpha will be born under an lunar eclipse from a pure blood parents. Even born as a human, the legendary alpha's birth mark will appear during a lunar eclipse and it will shine bright red regardless of the alpha turning or not. This legendary alpha will do something no other alpha before him was able to do. He will unite wolves and hunters for many years to come.
For years the wolves have had one natural enemy. They are called the hunters. They are born and are trained with one goal their entire life. The total annihilation of the wolves, not natural wolves. These wolves are special. By day they are human and they can change at will into the four legged beast that hunt and howl at the moon. They eat normal food in human form but when in beast form they must stay til dawn and must eat and do beast like things. So it not often they turn but when they do it's a site to be hold, true natural beauty. It's harmony with nature, it's a balance that should never be tampered with or else it would throw nature itself into chaos.
It will be this alpha's job to ensure the safety of every wolf to come after him. There has been many questions, as to who, how and when. These questions can not be answered because only the one they call the legendary alpha will know the answers. Has there ever been another legendary alpha before, has there even been peace between wolves and hunters before? Why do the hunters despise the wolves and what started this feud? These questions can not be answered because it has been many years and no one can remember. There are stories of one other and stories as to what caused this war but there are no true facts and no one knows the truth.
Over the centuries the wolves population has diminish by over half of what their former numbers were. The hunters have been successful in their mission. Many of the wolves pack have spread far, wide and hidden to survive. The is only a few times of the year the planet will force a turn. This is called natural 's calling. These times of the year are what we the human call solar and lunar eclipse. There are some that are not complete eclipses and when this happened the wolves can turn human after the eclipse pass but during the ones that are complete. The wolves must stay in their beast form til dawn. The hunters know this and they make plans accordingly. Which is the reason for their success. At some point some packs has issues with traders. These traders are often called mongrel, pets or lap dogs of the hunters. They have made deals with the hunters that would insure their safety and their immediate family.
