'Don't worry, I am a goddess of my word...' Tiflos' words rang through Tyros' head. 'Is she telling the truth? Or is this a scheme? We've grown weary these last 3000 years. To add on top of the fact that she was immediately able to tell I formed a connection with a new child... and the fact she retrieved her genesis flame again means something has happened to the seal I placed on it in the woodlands.'
Tyros began to be lost in thought, after 3000 years, he's grown complacent to easily think about things and lose himself in those thoughts, but he was quickly torn back out of his thoughts when he reflected on the plight his brethren had been forced into because of his pursuit of power.
"You should make a decision soon, I may be a Goddess of my word, but that doesn't mean I am a Goddess of patience." Tiflos scolded, as she saw the hesitancy in Tyros as he began to be lost in thought.
"Right, right, after 3000 years of being trapped in this universe of chaos, you are left with nothing to do but reflect. Maybe that's something an immortal goddess couldn't understand of a mortal being, even though my life will outlive that of almost all other mortal lifespans.
But yes, I will agree to your terms, if you release my brethren from this prison, I will accept my punishment of being turned into a spiritual being." Tyros felt the need to offer a quick retort to her comment, but he had agreed to her deal.
"Good, I will set them free, they will return to the same places they had been removed from those 3000 years ago." Tyflos had then waved her hand towards the emptiness of the chaos, releasing a terribly violent storm of power to be released.
As Tiflos' hand flew through the void, blinding lights burned in the darkness like little starlights. Every speck of light that was seen were in fact portals being torn open as they forcibly removed the other dragons from the space of chaos.
"Huh, it still astounds me to see you use the influence of a god to be placed upon the world, you truly haven't changed in 3000 years." Tyros lamenting the fact he had never been able to comprehend the universal laws that would have allowed him to transcend into a godly being.
"Oh please, flattery won't help you here. Besides, you yourself could have done this... no, on second thought, you probably wouldn't have been able to comprehend this form of power, even for me it's a borrowed one" Tiflos conversed a little with Tyros, she acted strange for a goddess, but the rhyme and reason for such being were unknown.
"Even a goddess needs to borrow pow-" Tyros was quickly interrupted.
"I've said too much, but you will also see that this isn't the kind of power a Goddess of Fire would use. Besides, your going to become a spiritual being, you will lose your ability to improve, but you will still be a demi-god, that will never change" Tiflos stated quickly as she then tilted her head up.
"*@^%@%&^#^(@*!^)@*^&@*(^%&" Tiflos began to speak unintelligible words, as her head slowly tilted back down to look down at Tyros. Her face and eyes no longer resembled the pure beauty of a goddess. As an eerie, stillness began to spread throughout the cosmos, the chaos within the universe began to settle, there was a certain order being instilled to it.
Tyros could immediately feel the difference coming from Tiflos' body, she was no longer in there. "What's hap-" Tyros was quickly cut off again.
"So you're the mortal being that was able to trick my daughter into losing one of her genesis flames I gave her. You certainly don't look like much, I wonder how you were able to do such a thing?" An eerily calm voice resounded inside Tyros' mind, Tiflos' lips didn't move, everything in this universe seemed to have stopped.
"I didn't tri-"
"Oh please, I've seen everything, and know everything that has occurred the moment she asked me to turn you into a spiritual being, I can see all her memories. She may be my daughter, but she certainly doesn't know the capabilities her parents possess. She may be a goddess, but that's because we made her that way. There are only two omnipotent beings in the universes, we don't hold vessels, though we oversee everything but don't interfere with anything.
Besides, you certainly did trick her, that much you cannot deny. You a mere mortal tried to climb his way up to being a godly being, the hubris doesn't suit a mortal. No, there are only six godly beings in the universes, of which, my wife and I created.
It still seems weird though, that my daughter was able to form such, shall we say interesting, feelings towards you. She would still rather see you as a spirit than dead. So much so that she's spared you kin. Now let me ask you, are you really deserving of such grace, given the lies and afflictions you've caused?" The being seemed to like to talk, but his question burned through Tyros' mind.
"I can't say I'm worthy. I was in search of power, she was a source I could gain it from. Clearly, I and my kin have suffered the consequences of those actions. If I were to say I am deserving of such benevolence, I cannot say that I am... let alone to an omnipotent being such as yourself" Tyros simply stated what had come to his mind, he felt he probably didn't even need to voice his word as he felt something peering inside his mind, and memories.
"True, you are not the one to make the decision of worth. That's why I'm here. I'm passing judgment upon you at the request of my daughter. You aren't allowed to voice your desires falsely. Especially when I know you can feel me peering through your mind.
Nevertheless, you do seem genuine, and I wouldn't want my dear daughter to resent me, not that that's stopped me from taking action before, I will be returning you to your original world, but your price will be paid for your mortal coil. But don't think too much of this as a punishment, you will get to live for as long as other mortals live, as a spirit of course."
Tiflos' hand was then raised again, but this time, all of the energy that was held still in the chaotic universe, began to become volatile again, but it was directed towards Tyros. The entire universe that Tyros had been held trapped in for the last 3000 years began to crumble as it rushed towards him.
"This is gonna hurt though, my daughter may want to spare you, of which I will abide by for her, but that doesn't mean I won't make it painful for you." The cold voice echoed through Tyros' mind.
'Well fuck' was the last thing Tyros was able to think before his body began to be torn to shreds. As he was forced to feel every cell in his body was being crushed, torn, shredded, and dismantled into nothingness. From starting with his scaled hide to his muscular frame, his muscles, tendons, and bones were destroyed bit by bit. Every nerve in his body felt the excruciating pain as his body was being obliterated.
Only after feeling the soul rendering pain of being wiped from existence for what seemed to be an eternity did the pain fade, as Tyros looked around and saw nothing but an ethereal form that looked like his former mortal body.
"As I said, I wouldn't make it painless, that is the consequence of angering a divine, I will return you to your old universe now, this one will only last long enough for me to leave anyway."
After hearing the word in his mind, Tyros then look back towards Tiflos' body, only to see the true figure of the omnipotent being who called itself Tiflos' parent. The pure domineering spirit that destroyed the universe he's called home for the last 3000 years in a mere instant revealed itself to him, as he shuddered back and the first instances of true fear Tyros had ever felt in his life could be seen.
