Ezra sat in his study that evening and smiled. It was all coming together. He had lost his father, his mother and parts of himself along the way only to be found again, wholly, by her. He thought about how he might propose. If it was moving too fast. If he should have his attorney draw up and prenup. So many things to think about and so many he didn't even care to. He had found someone to love. To trust. An unfamiliar beeping broke his thoughts. It didn't sound like his phone. He opened his top drawer and found the burner phone lighting up. Opening the screen, he saw that the tracking app was pinging. And it was pinging 20 miles from Phoenix. "Shit." He said out loud. He picked up his cell. "Andrew. Get the car. We need to make a trip to Phoenix."

"Hey there. Getting all packed and ready to go?" Ezra asked Billie as he entered the bedroom.
"Yes! Although I have no ski clothes. I don't really have many clothes. I don't know what to bring." She said, feeling a little ashamed.
"Don't worry about that at all. We can get some things at the shops in town there. Just pack what you need. I have to make a run with Andrew into town. I won't be long." He said casually.
"Ezra, it's past 11. Kind of late to be going to town?" Billie asked.
"Yes but it's for the trip. I will be back soon, for wait up. Get some sleep." He said, kissing her forehead.
"Ok. I will. Be safe." She said with a trusting smile. He loved that she trusted him but tonight, it hurt him. He was lying to her and what he was about to do was not worthy of anyone's trust.
He met Andrew by the car and they both nodded to one another. "I've phoned Paul. He is heading to Phoenix as well." Ezra nodded.
"Thank you."
On the drive, Andrew handed Ezra a box. He opened it and found the 22 carat emerald cut blue Kashmir sapphire and platinum ring. It was his mother's and he knew when and if he ever met the one, he would give it to her when he proposed. He sighed. He had one last thing to take care of before he asked her and it was falling right into his lap.

Sean pulled into the seedy motel outside of Phoenix. He sat in his car for a few minutes before going to check in, finishing the cigarette he had lit. He had a plan and he couldn't wait any longer to execute it. Email her with a false attorney's name to meet to pick up the signed divorce papers. Make sure she came alone or with that joke of a man she was seeing and take care of them, her, for good. He would make it look like a hold up. And robbery gone wrong. He had an alibi in Texas. A struggling singer that took less than Sean thought he would to say he was with Sean all week on the bar circuit, that Sean was his new manager. He told him he was going to Phoenix but to make sure he was playing out and being seen so when Sean came back into town, he would join him. He finished his cigarette and smiled. Time to get this show rolling, he thought with a smile. He opened his door and reached in to grab his suit case.
"I finally found you, you piece of shit." Someone said from behind him. He froze for a moment and slowly stood up, facing the man standing merely inches from him.
