It was because of Zi yichen!
The discovery was not too shocking cause it was already known that girls could be really jealous beings but this lady has taken her jealousy too far!
The man who was now the center of attraction of everybody didn't looked faltered, all that seemed to be in his mind was the girl in his mind.
after minutes of toying with the strand of hair in his hand, he looked up to Lui shenhui and said "I told you this before but you didn't just listen. Even if she didn't exist, you would never ever have been able to enter my eyes. and there's no way she wouldn't exist cause she and I were meant to be... we're Soulmates"
He might not have understood what he was saying but Lu yao yin clearly did, she remembered how they had met in her past life and then somehow again in this life, it truely showed that their souls would always find eachother no matter where they are.
To other his words were just lovey-dovey words, to him he meant it cause that was how he felt, To Lu yao yin she believed it cause she knew it was true.
Lui shenhui dropped her head dejectedly, "Zi yichen I couldn't get you in this lifetimes, but I will in the next"
"hehehe" A soft snicker reached their ears and even the ear of the lady that just finished speaking.
Slowly and languidly, Lu yao yin made her way to the stage, when she got in front of the pinned ladies the first thing she did was give a reply to Lui shenhui comment remark.
"you're wrong. if truely there is a next lifetime then...He would still be mine no matter how you try"

The Two lovers were clearly feeding all of them dogfood. Professing ownership over the other so openly, if that wasn't public display of affection then what was it but who were they to refuse such sweet dogfood. The audience didn't mind watching them confess their love for eachother.
when she was done replying Lui shenhui she turned and faced Lu shenqi with a chilly smile.
"what_what do you want? I'm now a government property!...you_you can't kill me!" Lu shenqi declared when trembling endlessly on her seat. Looking at Lu yao yin,she felt like she could really kill her if she wanted to.
Lu yao yin laughed "yes I would hand you to the government but before then don't we have a personal grudge to settle?" she had forgotten that she had planned to return one of Lu shenqi 'goodwill' but now that she remembered how could she go without fulfilling it.
she didn't wait for Lu shenqi reply before playing an audio file.
"who sent you?" a girl's voice resounded
"Lu_Lu shenqi, she contacted her uncle and had him hire us" a man's voice replied back.
"so what did you come for?" her voice asked again
"we...we were sent to cripple your legs and disfigure your face" the audio went off after this. Lu yao yin stopped it cause after this she had shot the man.
Lu shenqi began shaking her head vigorously trying to signal Lu yao yin not to do it, she didn't need to think hard to know that Lu yao yin was going to do those things to her.
It was definitely going to be very painful!
Under everyone eyes, Lu yao yin brought old two sharp daggers and crossed them across Lu shenqi face so many times then when she done the face could not be recognize due to the split skins and spilling blood.
They sucked in their breath fearfully, none of them expected that she would do such a thing in front of their eyes. what she did next was even more shocking cause the next minute she plunged the shining blades of the daggers into Lu shenqi thighs
"ahhh!" Lu shenqi shrieked then passed out.
"I'm not wicked I only give back what you give me. An eye for an eye that's the rule of the jungle" she turned and walked off the stage
People used to say she was fierce but now they really saw how fierce she cold be. but why did it look charming?!
not only them but even Zi yichen found his girlfriend fierceness very charming, this is the second time he had seen her done something ferocious but it still made him even more attracted to her.
With this the press conference came to an end and soon there were police men dragging Lui shenhui and the unconscious Lu shenqi out of the place. After they had been taking away, Lu yao yin, Zi yichen and then everyone from their side left the hall followed by the reporters.
"Boss what about Lu shenqi? are you really going to let her go like this?" Si xunmi whispered in Lu yao yin ear as they made their way to their car.
Lu yao yin stopped in her track and looked at her. There was a mischievous smile on her lips and a hint of playfully on her brows.
"even if I don't touch her, do you really think that he would not?" she used her chin to point to Zi yichen who had stepped aside to make a call.
Si xunmi could immediately reckon with what she said, who were they talking about again?...He was Zi yichen the notorious Lord Gremlin, there was absolutely no way that he would let someone who hurt his woman go Scot free. Si xunmi had seen how much he loved her master so she knew he definitely would not spare Lu shenqi and Lui shenhui, they were bound to suffer.
"Hmm" Lu shenqi groaned after being tossed into back of the police van, her eyes fluttered lightly andd opened just before the door was fastened shut from the back.
"I should have known...your family is a jinx to my life" Lui shenhui said with a wry smile to the girl that had just woken up.
Lu shenqi frowned to her words, she was angry cause Lui shenhui was blaming the failed plan on her head. The plan was never meant to be a success from the beginning, they thought they were playing Lu yao yin but instead she was the one playing them. She had given them enough chances to dig their own graves with their hands. If only she had known she would have never agreed to be part of the plan and maybe...just maybe she would have gotten the pieces of her life back together and find something meaningful to do.
in anger she retorted back "you should blame yourself for being dumber than Lu yao yin and stop blaming me, the only jinx here is your stupidity".
"You!" Lui shenhui sprang to her feet and moved to hit Lu shenqi but then the van suddenly came to a stop and threw the both of them to the floor then they began hearing commotion from outside of the van
"Hey who are you_ahh"
"stop right there!"
someone was yelling to their walkie-talkie "reinforcements! we need reinforcements! someone is trying to break out the prison_ahh!" sounds of gunshots accompanied the yells and shouts and after sometime the whole place went quiet like a grave yard.
Fear gripped the two women in the van to the existence that they had completely forgotten their pent up grudge and coiled into eachother on the floor.
"wh... who's there?! is_is any...one there?!" Lui shenhui exclaimed.
no one answered but they both could clearly hear a set of footsteps resounding on the sandy ground, the footsteps got closer and closer and then soon there was a pair of fingers fiddling with the locks on the van door resulting in a round of metal clacking sounds.
Screak!!
The door opened and a man in Black riders outfits appeared before their eyes.
"who are you?"
"we were sent from our boss, he said you had hired a breakout service from our company, is it you or have we got the wrong person?"
indeed Lui shenhui had made calls to hire a bunch of people that would break Lu shenqi out when she was arrested and then switch her for the real Lu yao yin, but she didn't finish making the deal before she was captured and dragged to the conference hall. even though she was confused she still nodded her head like a rattle drum and admitted hiring them.
"yes yes that's me!" she lied "quick and take us away before their reinforcements comes"
