Shi zeyi walked into the house for the first time in days and just seeing his dad in the sitting room told him he was about to witness some drama.
"Shi zeyi"
He paused "Dad?" he already knew what he dad wanted to say and because he had been avoiding this talk he hadn't come home for days.
"when were you going to tell me?" Shi jianguo folded the news paper in his hands and said with a hint of displeasure
"tell you about what?" he pretended like he didn't know what his father was talking about.
"when were you going to tell me that Lu yao yin was the C.E.O of DxD corporation? or isn't it of great importance?"
"I didn't think you would be interested in knowing besides I also just got to know myself" he defended with a frown on his faces
"not interested in knowing?" He chuckled "you know our company earns a lot from every deal we have with her company and you think I won't be interested. what if she hold grudge with us and thus don't want to work with us? do you know how much we would loss we would make?"
"if that happens where would we find high end models that would model our new designs, or which entertainment company would only use our designs for their movie costume, also which mall would we collaborate with when 50% of the malls we use are owned by her, which_"
Shi zeyi was tired of hearing his dad list out complaints, he made it sound like their company had only been living off DxD which was absolutely not true, there were other companies that had been working with theirs over the years
"dad stop making it sound like we've only been relying on her company"
"well we have! just think of it, we our deals include her malls, her models and even most of the costume used in her companies drama was made by us, many of our other partners only collaborated with us because they saw we had a close business partnership with DxD!"
"doesn't that make us equal? if she choose to cut our collaboration because of a nonexistent grudge then she would also be face with losses too right?"
"You're so naive" Shi jianguo sighed exhaustedly "all this while DxD has been boosting our profits and fame, but we have done nothing to add to their company, the only thing we have done is save them some time from looking for another reliable Design company, beside they have like a ton of other design company they are working with so why would cutting tiles with us earn them any loss?"
realisation hit Shi zeyi after he had listened to what Shi jianguo had said, he checked the fact and found out that he was really naive thinking they were on a mutual ground all this while, it seems he had overestimated his stance.
"so what do you suggest I do?"
"she might seem angry now but I can tell she still loves you, try getting her back for yourself and we would be sure that our company stance can never be shaken"

"forget about everything else just do as I say, try being more attentive this time and not be halfhearted like before, I'm sure she'll come around after a few coaxing" Shi jianguo said as he nudged him in the direction of his room.
Shi zeyi wasn't so optimistic about the whole 'getting her back' idea, he has seen how close she and Zi yichen were getting and suddenly he didn't feel so confident in himself.
How was he supposed to steal her attention back we she had such a prodigy next to her?
as he walked into his room and the door close behind him, Shi yunya walked out of her hiding place. she listened to everything her father said and was not happy at all.
She hated the fact that her brother was going to pursue the girl she hated with passion, not only did Lu yao yin disgrace her in public but she had also made the situation between her and her brother to be awkward, now her brother always avoided her and people still doubted that she had feeling fro her brother, because of that she had to frequently go out on dates with that good-for-nothing Hao yu and even act cheesy with him in public,
Oh just how the face of that sissy irritated her! and all this because of Lu yao yin!
she thinks she's untouchable just because she has become a CEO well she should think again cause I'll make sure I ruin her life!

"CEO Zi, your visit today is quite surprising" A middle aged man greeted politely to the calm facedan seated opposite him
"if I may ask, what brings you to my humble studio?"
"I've come to make some arrangement with you, if you wouldn't mind?"
"arrangement? about what?" He couldn't understand what arrangement would personally bring the high and mighty Zi yichen to his studio.
"Age of immortal" Zi yichen lips moved and those words came out
The director eyes lifted a little and then he relaxed into his chair totally unfeeling about what he just heard. many people has sat in this same chair and said those exact words but he ended up telling them the exact same thing he was about to say.
"Mr Zi I honour your aspirations to feature 'age of immortals' about your company celebrities but I have said that I would discern myself which celebrity is worth enough to be featured" this was one of the special quality of Director Fei, he was no fawner of anybody. if it was someone else they wouldn't have the heart to turn down Zi yichen proposal
"what if it was about two companies?" Zi yichen paused to get his attention "G-x and DxD"
The idea caught his attention but he wasn't enticed enough "I'd still have to look into it before_"

Director Fei's mind quickly created a picture for him and the scene totally fit the title 'Age of immortals', this time he was actually enticed by the idea. His soft spot was for creative and eye-catching ideas and this idea was really eye-catching and creative.
"G-x and DxD CEO's on a magazine? isn't that...clash of rivals?" he asked perplexed
Zi yichen chuckled "clash of rivals? more like Allies from rivalry"
"does DxD also agree with the idea? or do we have to wait till she agrees?"
"Don't worry, she came up with the idea herself"
The Director was even more surprised, it seems they were really close like the rumors say, he thought to himself
"um OK i agree, but give me time to sketch out the whole plan" He agreed
"take your time, just call us when you're ready and we'll be present" Zi yichen said then left the Directors office
Just as he walked out of the office a noticed a silver haired figure flash past among a group of men dressed in black.
His eyes popped open and his legs moved in the direction of the men walking away
"Zi yichen?" a warm voice called out from behind him making him halt. He turned back only to see Lui shenhui standing alongside a man.
"Jin Shenyang" He recognise the man standing beside her.
Jin Shenyang was Lui shenhui's cousin from her mother side, her mother had a twin sister that was married to the prestigious General Jin and Jin Shenyang was her son. He had known Jin Shenyang since they were little as their fathers were like brothers, it was even through General Jin that Zi yichen father had come to know Shi jianguo.
"Speak of the devil, I was just going to call and tell you that I was in town, that we should meet up"
"when did you come back?"
"not too long, I was bored at home so I decide to come out with shenhui, who knew we would suddenly meet here? what are you doing here yourself?"
"nothing, just a business deal" he answered but his attention was still on the direction the silver haired figure had left to.
Lui shenhui stood to the side and watched the two converse, she didn't say anything and just held a sweet smile on her face.
"you seem busy so why don't we meet up at your house and talk later"
"hmm" he hummed absentmindedly
"wait!" before they walked into the office he called them back "is He also back?"
"who? Jin fengju?" Jin Shenyang asked and Zi yichen nodded in response
"yes I heard from father that Jin fengju is back too but I haven't set my eyes on him though, why? do you want to see him?" He asked the last part curiously, he knew that Zi yichen and his half brother were not really on good terms, since they were little they always competed over every little thing, he was even surprised as his brother didn't become a business man together with Zi yichen
Jin fengju is back?!
Zi yichen face dropped a little "no just asking" he turned and left
If truly Jin fengju was back then...the silver haired man he saw must have been him
