Chapter 38 - The Door of the Damned...

Celestia's POV:

The Bat Griffins flew so fast in the dark sky. The cool air was making me shiver. Theo pressed his body against mine and put his arms around me to make me feel warm.

My long blonde hair was brushing his face constantly as the wind got stronger. I should have tied up my hair in a bun! Theo gently kissed my head and said," Why would I not want to feel your silky golden hair?"

I was glad that it was dusk, or else he would have seen me blush. In the darkness, I felt his lips touch mine. At first, his kiss was soft and passionate. Then suddenly, his grip tightened on my waist and pulled me in for an intense kiss.

His lips were parting mine, and he sucked my lower lip. I began to moan. I prayed that the Vampires who were flying along with us should not hear me moaning. But Theo didn't seem to worry about that.

"'It's too bad that we are riding on a Bat Griffin. Or else I would have taken you right here right now," Theo said and began to kiss my neck. It took me a while to realize that I wasn't cold anymore. All I felt was dizziness and warmth.

After some time, I rested my head on his chest and heard his heartbeat. Soon I drifted into sleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up after a pretty long time, but we were still riding on the Bat Griffin. I almost gasped when I looked down. We were going steeply down the hills towards a black abyss. The moonlight got much fainter here.
Shadow Realm is in the lower end of the Celestial realm, and it is right above the deep abyss of torment. So we were traveling down the surface. Never in my life did I think that I would be traveling on the pathway to the darkness.
But where exactly are we going? What is my task? Theo still refused to answer those questions. He thinks that I will perform my tasks better if I am given them on the spot.
Soon everything around us got so dark that I wasn't able to see anything around me. My grip on Theo's hand got firmer.
"We are almost there, Celestia. Stay strong," Theo said.
" When will the lights come on," I asked him.
" Once we reach down there, then it will be bright again," Theo answered.
" And how exactly do you know about that? Have you been here before?" I asked him warily.
" Yes," he replied immediately.
What was he doing here? Just when I was about to ask him that question, the surroundings got bright. We were only a few meters above the ground.
"This is the Forest of Blasphemy," Theo said in a shallow tone.
Forest of Blasphemy! This is where all the evil against God had emerged. That's why this forest has got this name. I always pictured this forest to be a shady and scary place, but it was pretty normal.
The Bat Griffin landed on the ground. Theo got down from the Griffin, and he also helped me to get back on my feet. I realized that we were the first ones to land on the ground. Our Bat Griffin is fast!
We had to wait a little more for the other two Bat Griffins to land on the ground. The Vampires got down and stepped towards us. No one was looking at me. All of their eyes were on Theo.
" Thank you so much for bringing us this far. Now there is only one job left for you. Take us to the Door of the Damned," Theo said.
Even the Vampires were horrified after hearing what Theo just said. And I wasn't able to believe my ears. " Theo, please tell me that you didn't really mean that," I pleaded with him.
"Celestia," he said in a bit of a high tone that I almost shuddered. " You will understand everything once we get there."
This is what I always hear from him. He never gives me a straight answer to my questions. Theo then glared at the Vampires. " Take us there now."
The Vampire girl sneered at Theo. " The Demon Queen has forbidden everyone in this realm from going there. We can't disobey the Demon Queen's orders."
" Fine," Theo yelled out. " If you are too scared of breaking the rules, then I would have to do what is forbidden. I probably should have done this before."
He then shut his eyes and began to shout something in the Enochian language. Every time he uses his Demonic tongue, I get incredibly anxious. Theo has self-control, and he won't slip entirely into the darkness, but still, I wouldn't say I liked the idea of him using dark spells.
The Vampires gasped when a dark portal appeared in front of us. " How can you open a portal here? Only Demonic entities can do it," one of the male Vampires demanded. " And it is against the rules if anyone opens a doorway without the Demon Queen's consent."
" Yeah, close the portal," the female Vampire interrupted. "Or else the Demon Queen is going to reprimand you."
Theo smirked at them." No one will be able to reprimand me. Because I am a lot more potent than your so-called Demon Queen."
They didn't argue with him after that. Theo glanced at me and said, "Come on, Celestia. Let us get out of here."
Theo and I passed through the fiery orange and black portal door. Then the surroundings around us changed entirely. We were in a totally different location.
It took me a while to process everything that happened so far. Theo did something that only Demons are allowed and capable of doing. Now we are in the gateway to the Doors of the Damned.
This place looked like hell itself. The sand was blood red, and there was a large cave door that had the horned bull symbol of the devil himself. Thousands of fallen Demonic warriors' souls are trapped behind this door.
" Theo, please don't tell me that you are going to open this door. This is not meant to be unlocked. Even the Demons won't dare to do it," I said.
" Yes, my love. We are going to open this door," Theo answered back.
