Chapter 25 - Blessed by the Moon Goddess

Celestia's POV:

The Selene Kingdom is the most beautiful place in this entire universe. The Kingdom lies on the banks of the seashore. There are no words to describe the beauty of this place. Everything is so bright and sparkling here.

The crystal blue ocean tides were crashing the coast constantly back and forth. The sun shone extra bright here, which made the sand gleam like gold.

But the weather wasn't humid. Even the air was different here. It was fresh with a tinge of saltiness which was very pleasant to inhale.

Each and every Siren girl who passed by looked elegant like angels. The Siren girl's skin was glowing like crystals, and their eyes twinkled like diamonds.

Theo was at the peak of his gorgeousness here. Even in the Celestial realm, he didn't look this handsome. I was overwhelmed by his grace and the beauty of this place.

My thoughts were making Theo smile constantly. " My love, we are blessed by the Moon goddess Selene. That's why our realm is sparkly and different from others."

What he said felt strange! No one in the Celestial realm glorifies the Moon goddess Selene. We all worship Aiden, the God of Fire and Sun. I remember questioning this to my Father. He told me that Holy Aiden is the one true God who is pure and the rest of them are just illusionists.

Theo seemed to be reading my mind keenly. After a while, he stopped in his tracks and glanced at me.

" Your Father lied to you," Theo stated. " Oberon doesn't glorify the Goddess Selene because we Sirens worship her. But it turned out good for us. Our Goddess granted us so many wishes, and she made us powerful. Your Father is the reason why we Sirens have got wings."

Now I understand why Selene is so bright because this is the only kingdom that glorifies the presence of the moon goddess.

My jaw almost dropped when I saw the castle of Selene. The court was wholly made up of Sapphire stones. I wonder where they got enough Sapphire stones to build this castle. Then I realized that they have the blessings of the Selene Goddess, so they are capable of doing anything.

Theo took me inside the sapphire castle. The roof and the floor inside had shades of blue and white. The passages through which he took me were like a beautiful maze. All the passages looked similar, but they led to different paths.

This castle is highly enchanted. I followed him quietly until we reached the courtroom. If not for Theo, I would have easily been tangled in this palace.

All the Siren women in the courtroom fixed their alluring eyes at me, which made me uncomfortable. I wasn't able to decipher if they were welcoming me or not.

Upon the throne sat an elegant and beautiful woman. She must be Queen Cynthia! She was a little more graceful and fierce than the rest of the Sirens I met. She was wearing a blue crystal diamond crown that neatly clipped her lustrous brown hair.

Her blue gown had the patterns of ocean waves in it, and it was long enough that it touched the ground. She was glaring at me coldly with her icy blue eyes. Just by her stares, I got the feeling that she disliked me.

I realized that I am not welcome here. I recalled what Ivory told Theo yesterday in the forest. The Queen despises me, and she is against the fact that Theo and I are together now.

Theo sensed my inner emotions, and he immediately clasped my hand as if he were assuring me that everything would be okay. I felt a bit relieved by the touch of his skin.

Finally, the Queen diverted her vicious gaze away from me and turned to Theo. " I told you a thousand times to stay away from her. Why don't you listen to me?"

"Because I am in love with her," Theo shouted so loud. All the Sirens in the room gasped.

" I bet this Fae has bewitched Theo," yelled one of the Sirens in the courtroom.

Soon, everyone started yelling something about me. So they all hate me this much? If I had known that before, then I would have never stepped into the Selene Kingdom.

" Silence," the Queen shouted. The whole room fell quiet immediately. The Queen then glared at Theo.

" You and this Fae warrior over here are like Ice and Fire. You two are not meant to be together. If you both try to go against the Almighty's will, then it is not going to end well," the Queen shouted at Theo.

She paused for a second to let her words reach everyone's mind. " Theo, just yesterday I got a vision. Do you know what fate holds for you? If you are with her, then you will have to endure a thousand years of suffering in the deep abyss of torment."

"Then I accept that Fate," Theo declared without giving a second thought to it. " I am in love with Celestia, and I am willing to be with her no matter what happens to me."

The Queen was startled by Theo's words. I was stunned too! The deep abyss of torment is a vast and dark pit that is below the shadow realm. That is the place where monsters and dark creatures of the Shadow realm live.

Only Father Oberon and the Demon Queen Lilith have the power to open a portal to the deep abyss, and both of them use it to punish their mortal enemies.

Darius told me that the force of darkness originated from the abyss of torment. It is just like hell, and if someone is thrown down there, they perish within a few seconds.

No one has ever come out of the deep abyss alive. They just get dissolved in the darkness of the pit forever. But a few mighty Faes have come out of the deep abyss.

A hundred years ago, a disgraced Fae warrior managed to survive the deep abyss, but he was overwhelmed by the dark force and turned into a powerful demon. Eventually, my father was the one who defeated the powerful demon.

So Theo is willing to suffer in the deep abyss for a thousand years for my sake? He could die! Or worse, he could become a cold-blooded monster.

The Queen's gaze softened a little. She seemed to be gloomy now. " I am going to pray to the Goddess Selene that you come out of this illusion soon," she said and got up from her throne. And then, she was gone.

Theo took me out of the courtroom. He wasn't cheerful anymore. The Queen's words certainly affected him. Well, I was mortified too. Theo is going to suffer because of me. I can't let this happen to him.

If me being with Theo is not going to end well for him, then why does he desire to be with me? I love Theo, and I don't want to be the reason why he suffers.

I feel like I made a mistake by choosing him. Both the kingdoms are unhappy with the decision I made. My decision has made everyone miserable.

Theo stood right in the hallway after hearing my troubled thoughts. "Celestia," he said. " Don't you ever think that you shouldn't be with me! Because you are my Destiny."

I shuddered. "But your Queen says that you are going to suffer in the deep abyss because of me."

Theo just smiled. "My love, even if I suffer because of you, I will have the strength to endure that just by thinking about the excellent times I had with you. But if you are not with me, then that will torment me the most."

" Theo," I cried.

" You are worth it, my sweetness," he said and gently pecked my forehead.

At that moment, I realized that no one could ever love me the way Theo does!
