Chapter Ninety six
"I miss her too. She is my little bossy bean. Does she still hide in my room there?"
"Yes, she does. The other day, she asked Chike to leave your room and Nolani thinks you are her father" Naya let out a breath.
"She calls me Dada. I am real sorry. I tried to stop her but she is just too set in her way. But don't worry, she will soon forget all about me since I am not coming home....I mean since I am not going back to Malawi"
Jason knew the news will come as a shock to Naya. And it was going to leave her in a tough spot as she now has to explain to the children why Jason was never coming back, at least for a while.
"You are not coming back" Naya whispered softly. "You found her didn't you? You found the girl you rushed out to call the day I kissed you"
"Yes, I found her. I am sorry, Naya" Jason felt the urge to apologize to her.
