CHAPTER EIGHTY
Jason was fast. He hid before McKenna could see him. He had never experience that much intense jealousy before. It would be worst if she saw the way he looked. He didn't need a mirror to know that jealousy was not a good look on him.
Jason emptied the whole liquor into the cup he was holding. He needed something stronger than scotch to prevent him from going over to where she was dancing like a slut and ply her out of the other man's hands. And then redesign the man's face with notable permanent scars.
McKenna was down to her fourth glass of drink and she was tipsy already. She felt light and free. Like she was wearing armor where nothing could pierce to get to her and her problems were a world away and she was a different person.
