CHAPTER SEVENTY-EIGHT
"A mask party? Jacob, I like partying just as much as the next girl but doing it with the rich and famous is not really my forte"
McKenna wondered why Jacob would ask her to be his date to something that only the high class were allowed to attend. She hated that he might think of her as an arm candy.
"McKenna, it's for a good cause and it will help a lot of children from our part of the world, Africa" Jacob explained further.
"Why do you even want me there? I am not going to sit still and look pretty and do my best not to say anything that will embarrass you. I am not some arm candy"
McKenna was persistent. He needed to know that if by some cosmic chance she agrees to go with him, she would be a part of their discussions or It was better she didn't go at all.
