Chapter seventy three
"You really think I am capable of murder, Jason? Huh....Do you really think that I am capable of murder?" Elixir said in between her clenched teeth as she held Jason's jaw roughly.
Jason wanted to yell no but he just couldn't. Even though he had contemplated in his mind that Elixir might have had Tamara killed, this was the first time he voiced his suspicion out and he had done it in the presence of his mother.
Elixir waited patiently for her son to tell her he was wrong and she was not capable of such vile and abominable thing. But the longer the silences on Jason's part the clearer the image. Her son thinks she is a murderer.
"There is no dispute now. It is clear as day, Jason. You are not the child I raised. You are an imposter and whatever you have done to my baby, I want him back!" Elixir stared deeply at Jason's eye, like she was talking to someone deep inside Jason's soul.
