Chapter two hundred and nineteen
Chike was playing the piano in his living room when Jason drove inside his compound. He turned the ignition off and stepped down from the car. He was almost close to his door when he heard the sound coming from his buddy's apartment.
"What's that awful sound?" Jason asked himself. The closer he got, the bigger the urge to run in the opposite direction. His eardrums were almost bleeding.
Using his hands as sound shield, he pushed the door and entered inside. Chike had his back to him and Jason wondered whether he knew someone was in the room with him.
Jason grabbed one of the throw pillow on the sofa and threw it at him but Chike turned like a speed of lightening and caught the throw pillow with his hands. There was no sneaking up on him.
"See what you did Yagazie. You interrupted my music" Chike said with a frown.
"And my eardrums are so thankful for that" Jason replied and sat down.
