Chapter two hundred and sixteen
Jason waited patiently but McKenna stared at him in tears. She was never going to tell him about Jackson Donna, he realized. Whatever her secret was she was willing to lose him to keep it.
Damn it! He was going to lose the battle even before it begun. Jason wondered what Jackson meant to her that McKenna was so adamant to keep hidden. Didn't she trust him? Didn't she love him enough to let him in? The second guessing and the thinking were driving him crazy!
"You won't understand....no one can!" McKenna told him.
This was it. This was the end of the road. Jason refused to take less than 100% in this relationship. He remembered when she saw him standing in a car park at the university of Toronto Canada and he remembered what she told him.
"Do you remember what you told me when I stood at the deserted car park at your school in Toronto and told you how I felt about you?" Jason asked her.
