Chapter Two hundred and one
Jason needed McKenna to know he would rather jump out of a plane than lay his hands on her. He was not James.
"I know. I know you, Jason. You won't physically hurt me"
"Okay"
It didn't make Jason alright. McKenna was so sure that he won't hurt her at least physically but he knew what she didn't say. McKenna didn't say there were ways to hurt the people he loved that didn't include physical violence and Jason was an expert in that.
He felt bad for Miranda. He should make an effort to fight for her just as much as he would fight for Elixir. Deep down, Jason knew if James laid a hand on his adoptive mother that no one would have stopped him from putting a bullet in-between James' eyes…. no one.
"We have to get Miranda out of there, Jason. She is your mother too"
