Chapter hundred and eighty four
Mckenna took a deep breathe. She wasn't getting anywhere with the name calling. Jason was just as stubborn as she was.
McKenna knew she was still in shock. She also knew that her fight or flight response to distress had been activated. But what was the point of hiding? If she knew Jason well enough then there was no place on earth that she would hide that he won't find her.
McKenna started making list of possible solutions in her head.
She was going to get out of this hole she dug for herself by any means possible. Only one solution saved a lot of trouble for both Jason and herself.
"No, there must be something we can do about this. We can just shred this paper and pretend it never happened"
Jason looked like he was about to burst into flames. Why didn't he think of such brilliant idea? Why did he spend last month in misery when all he should have done was shred the document and pretend it never happened?
