Chapter hundred and Eighty three
"Omasiri, what should we cook today?" Agnes asked her granddaughter.
"I already got something for us. Maybe we should cook spaghetti" McKenna answered her.
"Is that one food? But okay, if that is what you want" her grandmother agreed. There was a little pause before Agnes continued "your mother also liked unnecessary food like that indomie or tea. Fast food was her kind of thing too"
It was the first time her grandmother had talked to her about her mother in a good way.
"Really?" McKenna asked smiling. She wanted to hear more.
"Yeah, she was so tiny. She was very smart and kind-hearted. Her kind of goodness is rare to find in the world. When you were a little girl, sometimes I look at you and I see her. I see the kindness, the smartness and…it was just rare"
