Jason had called his birth parents and informed them about his decision to be Queenie's guardian now. He would go to court if need be. Miranda accepted almost immediately with promise that both of them will visit her often and James didn't seem to care much except to remind Jason that if he doesn't produce a wife in eight days then he becomes the wealthiest man in Nigeria. Jason ignored him.
The door opened and McKenna entered his office.
"You called me, Mr Yagazie" McKenna asked when she entered his office.
He was dressed in a white suit. He looked like he had just trimmed his hair and beards.
For a moment, she watched him and she noticed little things, like the fact that he was cheerful. He looked like the Jason she met during the Lagos conference and she missed that Jason. Not this monster that replaced him.
