Chapter hundred and fifty seven
"Maybe. I might just do that" Jason said more to himself than to his friend.
He realized he loved McKenna enough to let Tammy go at last. It even felt easy. And he felt guilty that it felt easy to let go of a girl he had been looking for, for a very long time.
"This Oma girl must be something else. I am glad you are moving on from Tammy. It is great news, Yagazie" What Chike really want to yell was 'Finally' but that would have been insensitive. McKenna was good and they both deserved love.
"She is great. She is beautiful. She is brilliant, man and I think I have a chance at love again. Is it selfish of me to grab it?" Jason asked with a bare whisper.
He wondered what his best friend thought about the whole thing. He hated to admit it but Chike's opinion matters to him even though he would never admit it to him.
