Chapter hundred and fifty six
The next few days was fun for both of them. McKenna never asked whether they were dating, she just went with the flow. She never told him again that she loved him and neither did he.
Jason couldn't be happy with the way his life was going. His mother unfroze his accounts and Naya was able to get everything she needed to raise his kid. It bothered him a bit that Kara wouldn't take his calls. She was six years old for Christ sake. Aren't six year olds supposed to forget things and be happy to see their fathers via video calls?
Jason wondered why he hadn't told McKenna he had a daughter with the woman he slept with while he was in Malawi. It was a difficult conversation but he has to tell her sooner than later. Jason guessed he was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Another shoe always drops in his life.
He hated that the time he was supposed to spend with McKenna, he spent half of it worrying about Kara.
