Chapter hundred and forty nine
"The documents are in your name already. I would never give my companies to a stranger, Elixir" Damien bit down a smile.
He saw as his daughter's face went from desperation to bewilderment and then to pure surprise.
"What! Dad, then what is the point of this newspaper?" Elixir was stuck in between anger and happiness. She finally settled on anger.
"I said my son-in-law would run my company, not own it. They are yours but the fact that my name will live on is an added victory. And you are more than capable of choosing your own husband but it must be within this year" Damian loved the surprise he had perfectly planned for his daughter. He knew she wouldn't have guess it in a million years. She flew into his arm and hugged her father tightly as she whispered the words - Thank you! Thank you!
