Chapter hundred and forty five
McKenna wore the blue gown that went below her knees. Her made up face was perfect and yet she felt the need to apply just a little more. It was unlike her to hide behind her makeup but she needed the extra barrier to survive working for Jason.
Elena brushed her hair with the weave-on comb and stared at her friend with one eye. She wondered what made McKenna agree to work for Jason again.
"What really happened, yesterday? Why are you going back to work as a secretary? It's below you MK" Elena was concerned about her best friend.
"Nothing. A contract is a contract. You don't have to worry about me" McKenna simply answered
Too late! Elena was already worried. They drove to work with one of Tiwa savage's song playing on the stereo. Tiwa savage was a popular Nigeria musician the two girls always liked. Plus, it prevented them from having a conversation about McKenna's sudden decision to work for Jascorp.
