Chapter hundred and forty two
Jason was never the type of man that liked loud music or crowded spaces; it was why he prefers to sip a glass of scotch on his roof than in a crowded nightclub. He found the way people's body touched constantly, an invasion of privacy.
But today wasn't that type of day. Today he needed a place where he couldn't hear himself think or his phone ring. Elixir must have called him a million times even though he had explicitly told her not to. He was on his sixth glass of drink when he saw the young lady across the bar giving him the signal. Jason smiled seductively at her; she would make a good antidote to his pain even if it would be temporary fix.
He gestured for the bar tender to pour a drink for her on his dime and the bar tender obliged. Soon, the young lady moved to sit beside him.
"Hi" Jason yelled and despite the loud music the young lady heard him.
"Hello, Jason"
