Chapter hundred and thirty six
When Naya opened the door, Jason was lying on the sofa and Kara was lying on his chest. Both were fast asleep. She dropped her bag on the table quietly to avoid waking both father and daughter.
She needed to discuss something urgent with Jason but she didn't have the heart to wake them up from what looked like a peaceful sleep.
She tiptoed outside to check on the children in the orphanage. She had to make sure they had finished their homework before they paid full attention to their cell phones. It was becoming a pandemic. She had in many times than she liked to count, had to pry phones out of their hands so they could do their chores and home work.
