Chapter hundred and twenty three
McKenna stared at her four friends without uttering a word. She just stared through them like they were transparent objects.
It was almost three weeks and she was yet to come out of her fog. Elena had tried severally to get her to go to class or do anything other than stare at objects or stuff her face with food and alcohol but none worked.
After all her futile attempts, she decided to call in the back up. It was the reason Luca, Aera, Jada and Emy was standing in the middle of their apartment trying to get McKenna to talk to them.
"I have been joggling both your school work and mine, McKenna. Writing your papers and trying to make sure you don't lose your scholarship. I am exhausted. And I don't even want to talk about the moral aspect since I know what I am doing is wrong and it could get me expelled. You need to snap out it" Luca complained but it didn't do much.
