Chapter 16 - 14 LOVELORN 4

Hiro knows Fushimi doesn't like drugs. So that's why he had hot tea at the desk—if Hiro spoke after urging Fushimi to confess on the phone—but if his boyfriend persisted in the beginning, how would they ever get married?

It will definitely be more difficult to manage.

And Hiro didn't want to be like that.

"Fushimi..."

"You should quit smoking for me too," said Fushimi suddenly.

"What?"

Fushimi's eyes. "You remember right? When I met my son when was the day?"

"Yes."

"He saw me smoking again just for being with you," said Fushimi. "How many times have I told you, I don't want to be a second-hand smoker. It's more dangerous. But supporting you isn't good either. So I ask you to stop smoking for me..."

It was Hiro's turn to be silent. "Hey, you...."

"What?" challenge Fushimi. "I hate drugs, you force me out of worry. So why can't I stop you smoking because you're worried too?"

"Fushimi..."

"I won't swallow it if you say no," said Fushimi. And Hiro lowered his hand.

This is what makes them totally incompatible. Both stubborn. But they are already at this stage. What's the point of that?

Hiro thought for a few minutes, looked at Fushimi's cat-like face with anger, then heaved a long sigh and handed him the pill once more.

"I'll try, if I can," said Hiro. "Okay? At least I'll try. But you know it's going to be very difficult."

"Really?"

"Hmm," said Hiro. "Now take the pills and get some rest."

Fushimi took all the pills, ate the wet bread, and drank a few sips of white milk as Hiro had asked. However, he immediately tightened the scarf he was wearing after everything was done.

"I still have work to do, so you can go home or sleep here if you want."

"What?"

"I'm still working, Hiro."

"Hey..."

Hiro caught Fushimi's hand. Then pulled his lover back to sit on the sofa.

"Hey, Hiro!"

"I'll finish your work," said Hiro. "So don't argue, just sit down, or you'd better go straight to the bedroom and I'll catch up with you—"

"What? No! That's my job, Hiro—"

"Stop being stubborn, Fuu. You have no idea how hot your fever is!"

"No!"

"GOOD... I COULD BE CRAZY FOR A LONG TIME!"

DEG

Seeing Hiro so angry, for some reason the recesses of Fushimi's chest suddenly rumbled. He was shaking. And seeing it made Hiro immediately pat himself on the head. Can't think of anything.

"Gosh... Gosh... Fine, sorry..." Hiro said. Then hugged Fushimi in his arms. Weird but true... Everything died down in an instant. Fushimi might even have really cried like a teenager if he hadn't patted him on the shoulder in a remorseful whisper. "...not like this, okay? You should rest. Don't worry. I'm not really an expert in your field, but I'll be sure to do well. Besides, hey... You're a man with a boy who knows how to make love. Remember that right?"

...

....

"...Hm." replied Fushimi.

After that, the new Fushimi pushed Hiro. Say 'thank you', back slowly to his room, and close the door before plopping down inside.

Close the door.

Hiro headed to Fushimi's study. He looked at the scattered files on the floor. Messy table. And the computer that's still glaring is on.

Hiro picked up the one that fell. He took a quick look at the data inside, and then placed it on the printer machine.

When he looked at the data again, he remembered... Back in college his parents asked him to major in business. However, because he was more interested in the art of architecture, in the middle of the process he left the road.

At first his parents were really angry. They even swore that he would never be able to return to that path again, and Hiro never regretted it. But tonight, Fushimi needs his help. So with memories starting to fade, he sat in his lover's chair.

"Ah, it's only 10 pm," said Hiro. Dai then took a pen to remember how long it had been.

Tick tick... Tick tick...

Hiro started to work even though his dizziness was begging for mercy. Well, when it comes to calculating stock values or whatever, he's not too difficult. But when faced with the logic and logic of the business world with different rules, Hiro couldn't help but shriek when the clock hit 1 o'clock.

Suddenly.

Then when the remaining 20% of the task was finished, he unconsciously fell asleep on the table.

The dream he saw that night was really sweet. Why? Because there is Fushimi there. His lover came. Bringing a blanket, then covered his back even though he still didn't want to forgive.

Ahh... Sweet dreams. Hiro didn't want to wake up at that time. His body is in good shape, and the feeling of opening his eyes is so pleasant in the morning.

"You're awake..." said Fushimi.

Hiro blinked, straightened up, and was suddenly served a glass of cereal in front of his face.

"Hmm."

"Good morning,"

Hiro also accepted the cup. But when he really came back to his senses, he really didn't expect a blanket to actually be on his shoulders.

Is it because Fushimi really accompanies him that night?

So the dream actually came true?

Either way, Hiro really felt the cereal he was sipping was the best of any meal that morning.

"Thank You,"

"Hmm," said Fushimi. "I should have said so."

Hiro looked at Fushimi who was sitting in front of him. They were only separated from Fushimi's desk at home, and Hiro was eager to reach for it even if it was a small amount.

"Hm... No problem."

What's this?

Their relationship is back to being a bit cold like before?

"I have a cold," said Fushimi as if he knew Hiro's thoughts. "Just don't touch me. I don't want you to get sick too."

"..."

"Besides, my condition has improved a bit thanks to your help last night," said Fushimi. "So, thanks again. Hope you understand."

Hearing that, Hiro suddenly wanted to laugh.

"Hm—ppfft—"

"What? Why do you want to laugh?"

"Why?" Hiro asked. He just shrugged his shoulders. "...No-no, just ignore me. It doesn't really matter—"

"Hiro, about our marriage..." interrupted Fushimi suddenly. "Are you sure you want to do it in America?"

Secretly, Hiro was glad to see that Fushimi had not forgotten about it. He also looked at his lover who was still wrapped in a blanket like a cold girl, holding a mug full of cereal, and her feet wearing floor sandals.

"Hmm, why?"

"What about your only son?" asked Fushimi. "Has he really accepted us?"

"Hm, already," said Hiro. "Even faster than I thought."

"Is that true?"

"Hm, after all he is the type of person who understands. His tolerance is high. And maybe because he has been trained in my upbringing since childhood."

Fushimi chuckled too. "You're great at educating children," he said. "Unlike me, who failed . . . And look now. I had time to misunderstand my son so that the small boarding house was more comfortable for him than the warm room I provided at home."

"Hey, it's not like that..." said Hiro. Then put down the cup.

"So what?"
