Arm in arm with Su Xirou, occasionally feeling some softness, Chen Feng couldn't help but find it a bit strange.
"Sometimes I wonder, we only have one life, and if we die, there's no antidote for regret, but why are you willing to risk your life for a child who's not even related to you?"
Su Xirou asked Chen Feng in a soft voice.
Chen Feng shook his head and said, "I didn't think too much about it at the time; there was no time to think, but something inside me told me I had to do it."
"You're a fool, a touching fool."
Su Xirou laughed.
"You're exaggerating."
"Tell me your story, will you?" Su Xirou looked at Chen Feng.
"I'm willing, but my story is a long one, let's talk about it some other time," said Chen Feng.
"So that means you're not willing, pshaw, saying it's not willing but making it sound so nice." Su Xirou gave Chen Feng a white look.
Together, they strolled around the park, chatting as they walked.
