Chen Feng looked at Liu Chun with an expression full of frustration and disappointment, which Liu Chun noticed.
Liu Chun said softly, "I don't need to retaliate against them. People like them, as long as I appear unharmed in front of the public, that's the biggest blow to them."
"Aren't you afraid they'll come after you again?"
Chen Feng frowned.
"Not at all," Liu Chun said, "I plan to quit working with Zhang Biancheng when we get back. As for Zhang Qingyue, we'll cut ties completely. Out of respect for our past friendship, I won't expose her, and I hope she can try and be a better person in the future."
"I'm in awe of your ability to forgive."
Chen Feng wasn't sure how to describe Liu Chun anymore.
Of course, he didn't necessarily think Liu Chun's approach was wrong.
"Regardless, let's just wait and see for now."
Liu Chun closed her eyes, appearing somewhat weary.
"Why don't we grab something to eat before going back to the hospital?" Chen Feng suggested.
