It was raining heavily, the same as it did that day. The same scenario, the same cold, lonely feeling that he had felt for so many years.
The group was outside in the lobby staying all silent, everyone was there except for the girl.
"His illness is taking a real serious turn. We don't know what could happen to him anytime.", the doctor said the words that everyone knew but did not want to hear.
Shinzo turned towards the three,"We'll be okay here. You guys should go back home now."
"But..."
"Please", she interrupted Korone.
"Let's go now mistress", Pekora took her by the hand.
"Can we visit him now?", Francis asked the doctor.
He nodded his head as a response.
"Where the hell is she?", Shinzo thought as she reached near the room.
There was no one in the room. The bed was cold which meant that he had left a long time ago.
He did not take any of his stuff with him and left behind a letter on the desk.
"I'm so sorry things went on like this. You guys gave me a home and tried your best to make me a part of your family but I wasn't able to put my trust on you guys because of my previous experience and I never got to know you guys. I met her a few months ago and it changed me completely. I didn't know how she did it, but last night answered all of my questions. She has suffered a lot all these years just because she fell in love with someone and I don't want her to suffer more.I'm really sorry I never got to know you guys better.
Goodbye."
"Idiot", tears rolled down her face.
"What is that?", Francis asked her.
"Our journey ends here. Let's go back home, we can't do anything about this.", she looks out of the window towards the garden as she says that.
When he reached the place, he found that the gates of the garden were already opened. He could see a figure under a tree, standing there, waiting for him.
"You know", he said as he approached her,"I always saw a girl in my dreams and I always saw this place where the girl would always meet me. I still remember her name."
"You know, I've been waiting for you to show up for like more than 4 hours now.", she smiled.
"You've waited for so many years. I bet you could've waited for a few more hours. Besides, why did you not kill me that day or yesterday?"
"I couldn't bring myself to do that.", she sat down on the soft grass.
"This garden. Why is this place so important?"
"We made it. You bought a large piece of land and we planted each and every single flower here with our own hands."
He sat down beside her.
"What was I like in that life?"
"The same guy. Lost, lonely and scared of everyone."
"Damn that's really cold"
"I've been wandering in this place for thousands of years, you'd get irritated of everything too.", he laughed on hearing that.
"I wish we had some more time."
"I could wait until you get old and then kill you."
"It's already been too long for you. I don't want to make it more painful for both of us."
"Since when did you become so smart?"
"I was smart from the start.", he sighed," I prefer girls with big breasts but all I got was a flat cutting board."
A punch in the head made him realise who he was talking to.
"After I die, what will happen to us?",
"You'll never suffer that much pain in the rest of your lives and you'll be living happily"
"What about you?"
She let out a huge sigh and got up,"I'll keep on wandering everywhere. I'm a curse after all. I think I'll visit Egypt.", she plucked a flower," I heard the pyramids are really beaut..."
"Promise me", he got up and looked at her with a serious expression on his face.
"What?"
"You'll find me every single one of my lives so that we could be together."
"Hey! You're asking a lot from me now"
He hugged her.
"I promise that I'll keep you happy. No matter what"
She teared up on hearing that.
He kissed her for the final time and looked at her with tears.
"Please kill me Krista."
"It's really unfair that you only get the chance to die!" she screamed .
"Hey, I promise I'll keep you happy no matter what in the next life."
"You idiot!", she cried," I should've killed you when I first met you"
