"You were going really fast back there." Alexandra replied.
"Was it your first time hitting eighty?" I asked her and she didn't reply within 0.2 seconds, so my overthinking brain went into overdrive and I had to cover up. "I'm genuinely asking. Not sarcasm, just curious."
"I have. .Just not on a bike... Its is pretty breathtaking, to be honest. Like Literally, I cannot breathe, is that normal?" She said panting.
"Ok... We are stopping." I said calmly as I put the indicator on and started heading towards the side of the road.
I get of the bike, take my helmet off ad ask her that looking straight in her eyes. "You ok there hun?"
"Yeah, yeah... Just... Wow." Alexandra replied.
"Ooohhhh, alright. I got scared there for a second. Take a minute, your first time is always something you'd remember." I said that with a little smirk.
"Shut up! Get back on, this ride is just getting started" she said.
"Yes ma'am, whatever you say." I replied. At this point I am, for sure, getting slap.
I start the bike again, and just wow! the sound of that sweet, sweet inline four. The Japanese sure how to make amazing, not to mention reliable engines.
"Are you done admiring your bike or should I take a seat by the side of the road?" She said sarcastically, maybe a little jealous of the attention I was giving the bike. Maybe! It could just be me. I can be pretty full of myself, but then again, it is I.
"The curb sure seems comfortable today" She said again
"Aight, aight, get off your ass. Let's go" I told her, I should've given her the side eye, but it's ok.
She gets off the curb, does a little full body stretch, which honestly was really cute.
I get on the bike and turn it on and give her my hand to help her get back on the bike. She holds my hand, grabs my shoulder, and gets on the bike.
We started on the way back. It was another thirty minutes for us to reach and the ride there was pretty quiet, none of us really spoke. I think we were just at peace, I know I was. Alexandra held me really tight, with her hands around my waist and the whole way, like an idiot I'm thinking of only on thing, "If only I had music...." But, but, in my defense, I had goosebumps the entire way ride.
"This it?" I ask Alexandra as we arrive sat her place.
"Yup, That's it." She replied.
"So, we should talk," I say as I take my helmet off, and have a dead serious look, "so the last few days have been pretty amazing and I really enjoyed it but" I took a deep breath...
"But?" She replied asking nervously.
"But, you didn't give me your number yet, like how do u want me to text you?"
Her face, I kid you not looked like she was going to cry, that changed to pure, unfiltered rage that then changed to laughter.
