The sunlight blinded the two as they exited the forest and broke the shade left behind by the trees.
"How do you think your parents are going to react, Netsuko?" Aaron asked worriedly.
"You'll be fine, I won't let them do anything to you." She replied.
"Wait, what could they do?" He asked.
"Theoretically they could rip you to shreds." She answered
Aaron looked on in stunned silence.
"What, I told you, I they won't do anything to you." She said.
"Now shut up and keep walking!"
After walking around for what felt like forever, the two finally found Netsuko's family.
Hey, guys. Netsuko said.
Oh! Back so soon? Mrs. Valentine asked.
Yeah, I need to tell you guys something. Netsuko answered.
Oh, what's up? Mr Valentine asked.
Um..Aaron found out about the you know what. Netsuko answered.
The smiles on Netsuko perents slowly faded, seemingly realizing something horrible.
Back to the car, Mr. Valentine ordered.
Aaron blood went ice cold, though he had been assured that nothing was going to happen to him, he couldn't shake the fear that her dad was going to rip out his throat as soon as they left public.
They piled into the car and set back to the Valentine's home.
The short 30 minute drive seemed to last forever, allowing the paranoia to set in even more.
He felt like he was waiting for his turn at the electrical chair or the hangman, only for the silence to be broken by Netsuko's father.
Aaron, He said.
So, no use in hiding it anymore, we're werewolves.
Aaron nodded quickly as his heart pounded through his ribcage.
Well, as shocking as it's going to sound, there's more of us, Mr. Valentine continued.
Elves, Dwarves, witches, warlocks, even dragons used to exist in the world.
Wait, really!! Aaron excitedly said.

There was even a time when man and what you call fantasy creatures, used to coexist peacefully.
Then what happened?! Aaron asked frantically.

Humans started to fear us, a few of them even convinced whole villages and cities to turn on us.
Thus starting witch hunts right? Asked Aaron.
Yep, unfortunately so Mr. Valentine answered.
Of course, that's humanity isn't it, Aaron said with a nervous chuckle.
We are really good at killing everything that doesn't look like us.
Don't get me wrong kid, Mr. Valentine began,
It wasn't all sunshine and roses.
We had our fair share of skirmishes and wars both amongst ourselves and against humans.
I mean, I guess that makes sence. Replied Aaron.
People usually solve their problems through war.
