"Aaaarghhhh!!" She screamed in agony as her skin began to crack revealing white light from inside her body.
Lyon was astounded, speechless as he watched the poor student who was meeting a very horrible end. She paused, her body standing frozen with her arms wrapped around her with her mouth wide-open revealing more of this unknown white light.
"It might be rude of me to say this… but I, Arthur, Commander of the Royal Knights, Adviser to the King. Accuse your actions as treason towards the kingdom and his highness. Thus, your family shall be stripped of their noble status and become slaves. It will be passed on as long as your bloodline continues to exist. Without further ado, I shall be the one to sever your head…" Arthur announced.
At one of the pathways towards the exit people started coming back, they watched as Arthur pulled out his blade. With a blink of an eye Arthur was already behind the girl with his blade raised in the air ready to swing at any moment.
But suddenly her body began twitching. Metoki had just returned back to the stands when he felt a sudden shift in the wind. Dark clouds were slowly piling up from above causing the whole kingdom to turn dim. Cold air began blowing from the north towards the south. Her body started to shake even though her limbs were frozen still, her abdomen then started to go wild, arm-like structures began to stretch her skin as if it was trying to escape.
It was climbing from her abdomen up to the chest then the neck and then from the depths of her mouth an arm suddenly rose, blood enveloped the bright white arm. One… two… three more arms rose from her mouth causing her jaw to dislocate and then the arms began ripping her apart revealing white figures existing inside of her. Intestines were thrown all around as blood splattered across the broken floor.
"What the hell…" Metoki uttered.
Four creatures with towering heights of 274cm with muscular bodies, standing in front of everyone, their heads wandered around as they scanned the landscape they were in. They were then fixated on the large watery creature that stood taller than them, Undine had a displeased look as her eyes gazed upon them. They started hissing towards her like snakes.
"Commander, may I ask if you know what these things are?" Ursula asked.
"Well, I've only heard them from rumors and gossip. Beings that are worshiped for their deity-like appearance, moreover a few knights said that they supposedly originated from Invidia'' Arthur calmly explained as he walked towards Ursula.
He stood beside with his blade in his hand. Lyon on the other hand couldn't catch up with the continuous surprising events, it looked as if it was planned exactly to confuse him. He looked around and saw people coming out from the passageways, without hesitation he rushed towards them and started telling them to exit the stadium. Metoki saw his actions and started doing the same thing to help him.
The four towering white creatures continued to wander their eyes around before they walked, stopping a meter away from the passageways. Eyes that were as bright as the sun shown in front of the people. They were shocked, frozen still as the creatures began opening their mouths. Fog started exiting from their large open mouths.
Lyon clenched on the grip of his sword so tight that his hands were turning red. But his face continued to stay calm and look emotionless. The fog was about to enter the passageway when suddenly the creature's head began sliding down. A diagonal cut around its neck slowly appeared, they all watched as it slid down and fell on the ground causing the stadium to shake a little.
It was Undine who had suddenly swung her sword. Lyon felt relieved for a bit before looking at the opposite end of the stadium. At the passageway where Metoki stood. It was filled with this irregular fog. Undine was slower than how she was depicted when the queen was the one using her, thus, she was late to arrive where Metoki was.
Suddenly the headless necks of the white creatures formed white snakes that extended to the ground, the numerous snake heads began clinging to the decapitated head and started yanking it up. Everyone watched as this happened right in front of them.
"W-what on earth is that?" The person behind Lyon asked.
Lyon felt a weird sensation as the head continued to be lifted up.
"Everyone get out, now!" He yelled.
But no one was willing to do what he had spoken. They were still curious about the bizarre creature that stood before them. Lyon knowing full-well that this isn't about to look good in any way possible released a terrifying aura. It gave off heat that was similar to the temperature of summer, it was powerful enough to convince everyone that they shouldn't be there. They started walking backwards towards the exit of the stadium.
The sky above the stadium had started to grow more dimmer, in under a few minutes the sunlight was slowly disappearing. This made the creatures look like bulbs in the darkness. Glowing as they stood there. As Undine and Ursula were about to reach the last passageway, the creature that stood there suddenly turned around and rushed towards Undine. Surprised, Ursula couldn't command her to do anything. Undine fell to the ground as the creature slammed its body against Undine.
"Lady Ursula, is she devouring too much mana?" Arthur asked.
He held out his hand as Ursula was thrown right in front of him. She stood up with a grin on her face.
"A feisty opponent, aren't they?" Arthur said.
"It's the first I'm seeing these creatures" Ursula replied, she took a deep breath and commanded Undine to connect to her once more.
"Lyon! Take care of the citizens alright~" Arthur shouted.
Lyon nodded and ran towards the other passageways that still had people who were either frozen in fear or were too fascinated by the creatures. Amidst the darkness that swallowed the stadium, the light from the creatures lit the area. Once Undine had stood up the white creatures started eating each other. Everyone was surprised as blood splattered all around the floor, blueish-green liquid that seemed to melt anything it touches.
"That could be troublesome…" Ursula said, as she took a step back looking at the blood started crawling it's way towards them.
Slowly the other creatures were mutilated, eaten by the one who survived. It grew taller, bulkier and looked much more terrifying than when it exited from a human's body. It's hand manifested a shield with the other creating a sword. It's eyes had disappeared but in exchange it's mouth grew large, wider, with more teeth that were sharper than a sword. Lyon felt a shiver down his spine as he saw the creature. He felt a little dizzy and started to wobble, he fell, hitting his bottocks on the solid flooring.
Upon lifting his head he saw a vision. The creature was standing in front of him with two more additional heads, one filled with eyes and the other had the head of a mutilated Undine. He turned around only to be surprised by a large crowd of dead humans, piled up like dirty clothes. Blood flooded the passageway, he could see the fog that came out of the creature's mouth as it breathed. At the very end of the tunnel was a silhouette of a person wearing armour, a long cape-like structure connected to its back.
The person held a long three headed spear. He could see the person's movement as he raised his hand that had a grip on the spear and threw it with full-force. It was too fast that his eyes could no longer follow the speed of the spear. But despite that he could feel it breaking the sound barrier that could not be seen by the humans naked eyes.
A sudden explosion pinned Lyon to the floor. It's shockwave was so strong that the bodies were blown to the other end of the tunnel towards the person who threw the spear. Upon turning his head Lyon was shocked to see the creature. It's body was torn in half, leaving only a small part of its body connected to the head of Undine whose face was also cut in half. Slowly a faint voice started echoing from the back of his head.
"Lyon!!"
It was Ursula who's face had turned extremely pale, her body looking frail as if she was about to walk towards death's door. She was screaming at him. A huge crowd of people were rushing towards her ganking her as she placed herself inside a water-like dome while the large creature sparred with Undine. Ursula couldn't do anything against a large horde of people.
"What on earth is happening…" Lyon uttered.
He was about to jump towards Ursula when suddenly Metoki appeared right in front of him. He was looking down as his arms swayed like it was lifeless.
"What are you doing Metoki? Let's go help Ursula!"
Lyon called out to him but he was unresponsive. He walked towards him and placed his left hand on his right shoulder before whispering in his ear.
"Let's go, times not on our side"
Lyon placed his left foot at the waist height railing made out of both concrete and metal. As he was about to jump he felt a murderous aura emiting behind him. He immediately looked back and leaned, watching as the blade swung in front of him, continuing a small portion of his bangs.
"M-Metoki?"
Looking at his eyes Lyon was shocked and dumbfounded as he gazed upon Metoki's glowing white eyes. He froze for a second before returning to his senses and dodged the second swing. He took a step back and realized that he was already at the edge, watching as his vision shifted. Looking at both the dim black sky and Metoki who's eyes were as bright as the sun.
His body slammed straight on to the cold solid ground. Droplets of rain started pouring from above. Both him and Metoki stared at each other as the rain got stronger. He couldn't believe it. Suddenly Metoki lifted up his sword and threw it towards Lyon. A lighting bolt struck the blade causing its direction to tilt, Lyon opened his eyes and at the very corner he saw it. A blade engulfed in lightning.
"Not yet…" A voice whispered to him.
His body then began moving on its own, standing up and facing Ursula. His eyes widened as he saw her. Her body had turned so thin like only a little bit of flesh and more on bones. Her long hair had turned white and her eyes were turning white. She couldn't hurt the swarm that was slamming her water dome, Undine was also looking smaller than when she first appeared.
Without hesitation Lyon dashed towards her, using "Explosive Steps" to boost his speed. He immediately reached the platform in just a few steps, but as he took his first step on to the elevated platform. Metoki suddenly appeared in front of him.
"Shit!" He cursed.
He used his left leg to change direction but Metoki could still follow him, stopping him from getting closer to Ursula. Without any options left he punched Metoki in the face, it was a solid blow that sent him flying in the air. When he was about to get neat to the crowd Metoki once again appeared in front of him. He was unbruised from his fall nor was Lyon's punch visible on his face. The ground suddenly started shaking, Lyon watched as Undine was suddenly beheaded by the creature, Ursula screamed in pain even though she almost lost her voice.
When he looked at the creature he saw it wielding Undine's long water blade. The creature lifted it above his head and effortlessly swung it towards Urusals dome.
"NOO!!" Lyon screamed as he reached out his hand towards her.
