Mrs. Gu took the mic and asked Jun Pyo to come on stage. When Jun Pyo got to the stage, Mrs. Gu started.

She motioned for Ye Soo Ya to come on stage, and with that she took Jun Pyo's hand then placed Ye Soo Ya's hand in his.
"On this joyous occasion, I hereby announce the engagement ceremony between my son Jun Pyo and this beautiful lady, Ye Soo Ya.
When she heard the gasps coming from the crowd she nodded proudly. "Yes, you all heard right my son Jun Pyo is getting engaged to the eldest and only miss of the Ye family.
As soon as she said that, she brought out the rings and asked them to put it on each other to complete the ceremony.
"What? He is getting engaged So Soon? And why to her?" Chu Wu Ji asked Choi Kang san in surprise.
"I don't know." Kang San shook his head. "I'm as surprised as you are."
"I mean, I don't understand why he is doing this. I really don't understand him. Isn't he love in love with Su Min? Then why is he getting engaged to this Soo Ya girl?" Woo Ji asked frustratingly.
Kang San took a long pause as his eye caught her. The person he longed for. The face he missed so much. Su Min.
He saw her stunned expression as the announcement was made. She doesn't seem to be able to process what just happened.
Su Min stood still, she was completely shocked. The announcement hit her really hard."
"How could he get engaged to another woman? We broke up Just two weeks ago and he already found someone for himself?
"Did our relationship of four years ever mean anything to him? Su Min thought as she look at the couple holding hands and smiling happily on stage.
"What happened?"
Su Min was brought out of her thoughts at Kang San's question. She immediately turn to look at him.
Kang San noticed her tears and handed her his handkerchief.
Su Min touched her face and realised that she had tears on them.
"Why am I crying? She thought out loud. I had asked him for a break up, so why am I crying now?
"Did you two fight?" Kang San asked again.
"No."
"Then what happened?"
"We broke up." Su Min said, forcing a smile.
"What?
"Why?!"
Kang San and Woo Ji both asked in unison.
"Didn't you both love each other so much?
"Why then did you break up?" Woo Ji asked Still not able to believe the love birds could part.
"What happened? Kang San asked looking Into her eyes.
"Nothing." Su Min simply replied.
"I...I... um can you give this to him please." She said handing over to Kang San the gift she had brought for Jun Pyo.
"Please tell him I said, I'm truly sorry."
"I had actually come here to explain why I asked for a break up.Thinking he'll probably understand me and wouldn't be mad at me or feel sad but..."
"You asked for the break up? Woo Ji asked in surprise.
"Why?" Kang San asked.
Su Min Ignored their questions and Smiled. "I guess I don't need to worry about an explanation. He's moved on already so i should too." Su Min said and she left the party.
"Why do you think they broke up?" Kang San asked, still not tearing his gaze away from Su Min's leaving figure.
"I really can't comprehend." Woo Ji replied truthfully.
No one could have imagined that the loving couple would part this easily.
"What could have gone wrong to make them separate? Kang San wondered. Why would Su Min ask Jun Pyo for a break up when she obviously loves him so much.
"What is happening? Woo Ji also thought as he look at the fake smile plastered on Jun Pyo's face.
They have been friends since a very long time and he definitely knew that the smile Jun Pyo was wearing at the moment was forced.
"If he's not happy about this, why isn't he saying anything? What made him agree to the engagement if he doesn't want it?" Woo Ji thought.
"I Must talk to Jun Pyo." Kang San declared.
"Yes." Woo Ji agreed.
This is unfair to Su Min, How could he do this to her? Kang thought angrily.
They tried to talk to Jun Pyo but he wasn't chanced to talk to them as he was being introduced to different people. He was meeting the business men present at the party.
"Do you think he probably grew tired of her?" And decided to try something new. Woo Ji blurted out earning a ice glare from Kang San.
"Shut up!"
Su Min wipe her tears as she walked away. she couldn't stop the pool of tears that were flooding her face.
"It's all over. It's all over. It's completely over. Su Min mumbled. I can't believe it's all over.
"What happened to all our promises to each other?"
"Why couldn't you wait for me Jun?
"Why did you do this?" Su Min wept uncontrollably.
"We promised to be together forever. Why have you forsaken me?"
"I thought you'd trust me, I thought you'd believe in us and stay strong. "Why Jun?"
"Why did you shatter my hope?"
"Why did you do this to me?" Su Min cried hitting her chest continuously.
She had wanted to come and tell him everything, She wanted to explain everything to him.
She was leaving tonight for her brother's treatment and wanted to use that as a decoy to mislead Mrs. Gu, so she had gone there tonight to fill him in on the plan.
She knew Mrs. Gu had someone watch her and that was why she staged the break up.
Otherwise, How could she give up so easily on their love?" How could she forget all the vows they made to each other? How could she forget him?" How could she forget her first love?"
Su Min had stopped her brother from going out of the house after that day with madam Gu.
When she decided to meet Dr Lu on the sly and ask for him to change her brother's hospital appointments. He refused to even see her and when he did, he told her that her brother's name has been removed from the list of the hospital beneficiaries and that they had to pay for all the treatments and even the operation.
Su Min felt extremely sad. How would they afford the hospital bills? and even the operation fee?
Every hope she had of helping her brother walk again was mercilessly crumbled.
